Hello All,
Some of you may or may not know that I have extensive experience in blockchain technology, and run several businesses utilizing the technology... with and without smart contracts.
The ethereum address attached to the Q picture in McAfee's instagram... might be a scam attempt from one of his social media guys.
The reason I say this:
Every transaction on mainnet ethereum have been triggering the transfer function on a WHACK'D ERC20 token, sending back and forth with UniSwap... which is a decentralized exchange protocol. Meaning there is a very good chance whoever it is is just trying to earn easy free money off the news.
That being said... it's very weird, and if that address starts processing transactions with signed message data, or anything significant that I see, I will let you know.
But for right now, this looks like it could be the social media guy trying to make a quick buck.
For what it's worth. I don't believe McAfee is actually dead. Something weird is going on behind this, but that ethereum address I think is a bit of a distraction.
This is why this community is fucking awesome ... we have experts here in pretty much every field.
OP ... you are my new Fren. Frens for life for sure. 5 Star Post.
Keep us informed Fren.
Kind of like Pawn Stars in which we always have a buddy who is an expert on something just down the street
aaand now YOU are my new best Fren .... fucking Pawn Stars. You NAILED IT.
It's quite amazing to see the massive range of experts that we have in this community!
It's amazing how quickly u/farpointpatriot ditches their last best friend. ?
LOL.
Best I can do is one upvote
Agree, nobody has shown anything of significance
Didn't have time to look at the source myself but i agree, something fishy is going on with that contract, plus as well i'm almost sure, he didn't die and that was just an exfiltration, killing him would be literally a call for suicide firing back
I'm getting with monkeywerx to see if any of the planefags have seen action in that region recently. I've not kept up on it in the last couple weeks. will report back if he see's something of significance.
US Military Plane leaving Madrid
Twatter not working for me. Archived links?
Not really a planefag myself, did it some times but not as active tracker, so can't confirm but seems we have a surprise

Yeah I picked up on that, I'm kind of impressed quite frankly. It looks like a lot of us are really getting the hang of this
Are you talking about McAfee's coin from 2019 or the pajeet knockoff coin that's piggybacking off of WHACKD?
Edit: this is the real one 0xCF8335727B776d190f9D15a54E6B9B9348439eEE
Crickets from OP
Shill tactic throughout all this has been to "debunk" something nobody ever claimed, like that the Facebook Metadata ID meant something, or the fake Pirate Bay screenshot of a 13 GB torrent, or that he needs to output 13 GB of data rather than just a simple magnet link and a decryption key.
THINK CRITICALLY. Why would he name the coin WHACKD and the wallet EPSTEIN, and then specifically caption a photo saying that he got the coin's name tattooed to draw attention to the fact that it powers a deadman switch because he knows he's going to get whacked like Epstein? I fear too many people here are bandwagoning without having followed the whole story.
Yeah, not accusing OP of being a shill but it's a bit sus. And I'm not saying that I definitely know what's happening here either, but I would like to see some more discussion on this. I believe that there's more to this story. Perhaps something may trigger once the token is completely burned? Just spitballing ideas.
WATCH THE AUDIT
Thank you for the info! One reason I look at every post on this site - lots of signal even if there is quite a bit of noise at times.
This makes the most sense. The WHACK'd token is just a scam.
One of countless many in the crypto space :D
I am with you. A guy thinks he is going to be taken out so he protects himself by getting a meaningless tattoo?
No, I think he used the post to trigger a production deploy of the whackd coin which triggers his deadmans switch.
Dude ... so I went to the WHACKD website. That whole thing ... Including the Token is completely insane. Then I found this article.
What the fuck is going on??? This thing burns at 10% per transaction. What would be the point of that?
Just saw his story on Fox News. It's getting traction. Even that fat fuck Cavuto said it seems suspicious.
McAfee may have been a little 'off' but he was also a genius. Sorry ... but that is a fact.
What does that mean, for us non-experts in blockchainamagigs?
Burns you say. 1 billion coins down to 829 million and falling.
It's a fuse?
Is there a way to know when the token was born, or genesis block I’m sure was created?

^ This is the exact transaction this WHACK'd token was created on Mainnet.
That being said, theres an older WHACK'd that this same address deployed a year ago. Might of been a test run... but generally tests are done on Testnet.
Wouldn't it make sense that this is an elaborate death hoax and the token was created to fund his existence post "death?"
He did claim to have body doubles (including one who changed his name to "John MacAfee" and those who had plastic surgery to look like him).
I never bought into the idea of clones or body doubles. It's so absurd because not even Hollywood has the means to perfectly recreate someone no matter how hard they try. The ONLY way to really recreate someone is CGI. That's it. Nothing else that we know of works and there is virtually 0 evidence supporting this.
???
Did you arrive at "virtually 0 evidence supporting this" after extensive research or after contemplating it over a doughnut or something?
Body doubles simply do not exist within the confines of law enforcement and investigation. Yes, we know politicians sometimes use body doubles at physical events, but that's in instances where people see them for a brief moment, not for hours at a time. It's almost non existent at this point thanks to modern cameras and live 24 hour news. I'm sure it was more common years ago, but today it's hard to conceal, humans are incredibly good at spotting a fake no matter how much plastic surgery and cosmetics you put on.
I didn't either, but spend more time digging and you'll change your tune.
Date of tweet versus date of Instagram account creation? ?♂️
QUESTION: For those of us that are cryptards ... how do they (he/she/it) make money this way? Like .. how would a scammer make money off of what we are seeing?
Basically using the marketing of that mysterious picture and then reddit claiming it has an ethereum token attached to it
users will search for said token on the exchange (Uniswap and Unitrade)... and buy it for real currency like Ether.
but they are buying it directly from the scammer effectively (because its a swapping platform).
So the scammer is using the marketing and hubub going on with McAfee to try and sell some useless tokens for real coin.
OK ... how are the tokens 'priced'? For the scammers to make any money wouldn't they have to sell the token for more than they paid for it (in terms of ETH). I get it that they are selling directly. Unless they got the tokens for free.
Sorry or the questions ... I'm just trying to understand, and help others understand.
The tokens or coins are created out of thin air literally just a box that you put a number in and that's how many coins you have. This can only be done at creation however and it will normally be a locked amount but some contracts allow for infinite coin creation. So the scammer in the scenario would have to be a developer or whale with a already significant stake in the coin and wants to see the price increase to cash out. Unlike Bitcoin, tokens built on the ethereum blockchain are not mined they are just created through the software itself.
I’ll keep stacking gold and silver with my hard earned fiat cash thank you….
Tokens and coins are created at the time of issue, then through the 'mining' (block validation) process as a 'reward' to miners for verifying blocks. You can't just go in and say "I think I'll say I have a 1000 Bitcoins today".
EDIT: Is that true??? ETH tokens and coins are NOT mined? Never heard that before, and I've been in the space casually for about 2 years.
It is completely different than Bitcoin. The ethereum blockchain uses gas as a reward in ether which is just the processing power required to validate transactions. However all the coins are simply minted through the smart contract.
FUk ...yes ... gas. I remember that now. I haven't been deep in the space since those fucks at Binance.com locked me out of my account, would never accept my 'jpg' proving I was me (too pixelated, to large, to small ... blah blah fucking blah) and stole about 50000 RVN from me. Muther fuckers.
Sorry ... thanks for the education Fren.
They did the exact same s*** to me when they started banning US customers. I was a RVN miner till they screwed me over.
The price is set on the liquidity rate supplied by the original supplier on UniSwap
For example, if you supply 1 WHACK'd and 1 ETH, the price of 1 WHACK'd is 1 eth.
me either
Don't they need a 'wallet' to transact these? I don't see anywhere where you can park this shit other than your own personal wallet (like a Nano or something like that) This whole WHACKD thing is completely insane.
Thanks, so like everything, let's be cautious and skeptical. And KEEP DIGGING
Hehe. Blockchain Fag. Cool! Thanks, fren!
Blockchain Fag. You know, like FBI Fag, or Plane Fag. Nuclear Submarine Fag...
Or "Nobody really gives a fuck" fag...
I think the vernacular is crystal clear...
Thanks for the input fren
Well if you send money over this then you are definitely silly. That much should be very clear.
Thanks a bunch for explanation. We have expert fags here from every profession which is wonderful. For newbies, the term fag is used as a term of endearment by the chans/Kun, it's not a slur.
Please please keep us updated if you see or find anything. This is outstanding.
What ETH address? The only thing I've seen posted from the image was the facebook metadata.
I was suspecting this, someone mentioned the original Q post from John's IG did not contain metadata but I may be wrong
High energy post !!
Perfect time to kill a man who has a well known deadman switch and then take over all his accounts.
Slow drip cherry picked intel.
Some would say even better and safer than a FF event.
omygarsh way over my head reading the knowledge here, Am not worthy to even read this string. guess being over 60 i missed out on all the tech
apparently http://whackd.biz is still up as well.
Great contribution. Keep us posted

WTF GUYS THE TOKEN SHOWS DATA ON TRADINGVIEW. The history only goes back to the day he died on the 23rd. Something is up, how did his coin JUST start trading on an exchange the day he died.

Hi sillbag, any suggestions for someone who wants to get involved in blockchain but is not a programmer?
A giant Q on a platform owned by Facebook??? I thought it was fishy too. Too obvious?
I understood some of those words.
Oh, and quick question - I am technical but just learning about block chain. I have seen some posts claiming McAfee's dead man switch will see his info posting to block chain sites and even mentioned Ethereum as one of them. My understanding is the crypto ledgers only have transaction data on the coins and are not where any other type of data is being stored. So McAfee or anyone posting data to a bitcoin ledger or any other crypto ledger is false?
You are able to broadcast text-based data through the blockchain... a few methods... smart contracts, or through signed messages from the wallet.
This is one of the biggest ways people claim Craig Wright can prove he is truly Satoshi Nakamoto... by broadcasting a signed message from Satoshi's wallet.
Thank you - I don't fully understand but I get the gist. It is a fascinating technology and I am envious of folks like you who really understand it. Looking to get there as well because, even if crypto goes nowhere, a massively distributed database system with no central authority and yet trustworthy is truly revolutionary and will have all kinds of use.
The true value of cryptocurrencies are not the currencies that sit ontop of the network... it's the underlying technology that it provides. :)
It is very worthwhile to learn how blockchain technology works... the crypto coins themselves are speculative entirely. The technology is not.
It doesn't make sense that he would post anything meaningful on a platform that can easily take it down
Hello fren interesting bit here, is that reading one of these contracts from the latest activity on johns whackd account completely locks up the site. Good luck seeing what he wanted us to see. I believe it is in these contracts using metamask. see below.
https://github.com/ethereum/EIPs/blob/master/EIPS/eip-712.md
This is also crazy, this is the old whackd site, has clinton eating pizza on the page https://web.archive.org/web/20191118182927/https://whackdtoken.com/
The official whackd twitter account I have found as well. https://twitter.com/whackdbiz
curious - what aspects of blockchain do your businesses actually utilize?
