Matthew Perry's mom was quite the socialite (Party girl) and she got around. She and Matthew Perry's supposed father only married for two years and divorced not long after Perry's birth. I'm wondering if was a sham marriage to cover up that she and Otis Chandler fooled around. He wouldn't want it coming out that he'd had an affair, but he probably also wouldn't want his bastard son being born out of wedlock.
I grew up in LA and only ever heard their name in passing and really couldn't name any specific about who and what they were. Before clicking this link I was scouring my brain for the Chandler name and came up empty.

Not surprisingly, like most teenagers one was a complete fuck-up but righted the ship in college "apparently" to go onto become a successful lawyer. The other one was a "could do no wrong" straight A student. But one hundred precent nepotism and family connections most definitely help both their careers.
