I saw Brett change overnight. I was so angry at Fox after Election Night we canceled the cable shortly after. It has been wonderful, the tv is not on and we are not watching garbage. More money and more family time as an added bonus.
We did the same shorty after election night. Cut the cord and don't miss it at all. it's funny when we go over other homes and they are watching the woke ad filled shows.
OK but the sanctimony of non-TV owners is a little humorous. For example, my wife and I enjoy the heck out of shows about the cosmos, how the universe works, the oceans, the natural world, we've seen inside rare birds' nests, underground lairs of exotic mammals, scenes inside active volcanoes, and undersea visions and vast vistas in countries and on planets we never would have experienced without the wondrous miracle of TV and cable, yes that's right, cable TV.
Plus we're rabid fans of the local (back-to-back Stanley Cup champion Tampa Bay Lightning) hockey team and enjoy watching all their live games on our TiVo. We enjoy the commercial-free life and learning a ton every day by choosing educational and stimulating programs.
So, not all folks with cable TV are completely out of it after all :) Don't worry, we'll be dead soon. Not soon enough for the deep state, but soon.
I threw out my TV 30 years ago because it just seemed like a bunch of idiots yelling at me. I am starting to think that that is a big reason why I and others who have turned off their TV don't even begin to get caught up in the BS - because we don't see it.
It's not sanctimony - it's gratitude that I can have a somewhat clear head. Prior to the plandemic, I could not sit around in car dealer/ medical / whatever waiting rooms because I so hated being shouted at. So I always had to walk around or go outside.
I love to watch the nature and science shows like you do, but I find plenty to choose from on the internet where I can watch them when I want to, and without commercials. Fortunately, you don't have to watch broadcast/cable TV to see these things anymore.
Maybe, but no live local hockey on internet = cable TV subscription
We literally switched cable providers from Frontier FiOS (100% reliable) to Spectrum broadband (100% shit) because Frontier dropped the contract for our local hockey games
Just an FYI (I'm sure you know this, but just in case you don't :-) ) ...
if you have a VPN you can subscribe to NHL Center Ice and watch your Lightning games using that ... just choose a server that is not in your broadcasting area. I did the same with the MLB package many years ago. You don't save that much cash and there is certainly a convenience factor, but it sure does beat having to subscribe to a tier of a cable package that has a ton of woke channels lumped in with sports.
I wish I was still into hockey, but until things are straightened out worldwide, I am not following any sports. I cannot fund these pricks anymore. I am not casting any kind of judgement on you ... you're free to spend your money any way you see fit :-). I remember when the Penguins won back-to-back cups in '91 - '92 ... those were some good times :-).
On a side note, I'd love to see the Rays win the World Series this year :-) ... anything that makes the Pittsburgh Pirates look more pathetic is awesome!!! :-) . The Pirates owner is a glorified corporate welfare recipient and actively looks for ways to not pay talent to stick around. It is disgusting. That pile of shit team screws taxpayers over thanks to their stupid "stadium deal" that seemed to only benefit the Pirates. You'd think the least the cheap prick would do is fund a team that has enough pieces in place to win, but the fucker won't even do that (see 2013-2015 as an example ... seems like the Rays aren't doing that cheapskate nonsense this year)!
We were done with sports after the NHL strike somewhere after the '91 & '92 wins. Tom Barrasso shot his mouth off about needing more money and too bad if the fans don't understand that.
I have no cable subscription and watch everything I used to (and more) on my living room television. There's simply no need for a cable subscription anymore. I was against it at first but wanted to save money. Thought I'd miss out but ai don't at all. It only took me about 2 weeks to catch on. I find I watch less but when I do watch it's much higher quality programs.
Pluto TV app is awesome (free).
The mask quickly started to slip of him and Fox News during that first republican debate in 2015 when they went after Trump like they were CNN. I stopped watching them regularly after that and it wasn't long before I quit entirely.
If you're in a late model car, you can't get easily get a black eye from a car accident. The air bag deploys before you hit the steering wheel or whatever. And if you hit the air bag too hard, it breaks your nose and gives you two black eyes.
Wait, so this suggests the guy is having his family’s life threatened by the deep state.
With every form of government compromised does he have any options at all? I mean, for him to speak up he’s almost guaranteeing his family gets murdered right?
And didn’t they kill Bill Cosby’s son in a similar way? I mean, we know of countless times people in media and politics are murdered like this.
My point is, why are people here being so hard on him? He seems like a legitimate victim and idk what I would do in his position other than quit if that was a viable option.
I don’t know much about Bret Baier other than this, so if anyone has more info about him being cabal I’d love to hear more.
Haven’t watched Fox since the early AZ call. Not a Brett Baier fan, but on election night he, Martha McCallum, and Bill Hemmer refused to believe the Arizona call. They debated it with big mouth Chris Stirewalt who basically claimed the Fox voter preference poll was infallible. Then they dragged Arnon Mishkin out and he tried to claim their statistical modeling was too bulletproof.
Having said all that, it wouldn’t take a threat of bodily violence to get these people to change their tune. All it takes is money.
I watched Fox on election night, Brett Bair had a change in body language after the Arizona call, like he knew something was up and not quite right. To me it didn't seem like acting, it seemed like genuine concern.
Also noteable. His son has a heart condition that I believe may very well require a transplant in the future. I'm sure he doesn't want any enemies with the power to put him on the bottom of the list.
yeah, when your life is threatened, or that of your family, it is time to quite if you do not have the courage to keep telling the truth. It's sad that people have to make this decision, but character does not allow complicity.
Assuming you know who is after you and how to find them. I always thought the cash for clunkers thing was orchestrated to get us all driving cars someone else could control remotely. It's like the programmable thermostats. They WILL use it to control whether you get heat or not in the winter. It's just a matter of time.
Brett was an asshole anti Trumper during the first GOP debate. I emailed him and told him that. We had an epic email battle with him finally saying I should just stop
watching his show. Replied I went even farther and blocked the FOX news channel from all of our tvs and that I sent emails and posted on FB suggesting everyone so the same.
I remember that accident. I hadn’t thought about it being connected to his about face. I watched something recently with Britt Hume and him and they seem clueless these days, lol.
I remember that night clearly. Only a small percentage of votes was in and they called Arizona for then dems. That was the last straw for fox. As for the TV, it’s off till the hubby get home. The commercials piss me off any more. I just can’t stand it

If i go to someones house i straight up ask them to turn off the TV so it doesnt distract us from our conversation.
I can’t stand the woke commercials! So happy not to be supporting that madness.

Penguins fan here too, but haven't really followed them in the past couple seasons, life got busier after having a kid.
We were done with sports after the NHL strike somewhere after the '91 & '92 wins. Tom Barrasso shot his mouth off about needing more money and too bad if the fans don't understand that.
Our son grew up playing hockey and still plays today. My husband wouldn't be tolerable if we took hockey away!
I would be a whole lot worse than intolerable, that I can tell you.
Kek
EDIT: LOL @ someone needing to downvote this
LOL yep I saw that, must not be a hockey fan.
Why do you think I watch commercials when I explicitly stated the opposite
We don't enjoy watching the PC. And "almost" doesn't include local hockey games. End of story.
The sanctimony comes in the frequent inference that those with cable TV "NEED TO CUT THE CORD"
LOL no need. No desire even.

Watch anime, it's much better entertainment.
Bret joined the black eye club?
The mask quickly started to slip of him and Fox News during that first republican debate in 2015 when they went after Trump like they were CNN. I stopped watching them regularly after that and it wasn't long before I quit entirely.
Nothing but a black eye? That’s not suspicious at all.
If you're in a late model car, you can't get easily get a black eye from a car accident. The air bag deploys before you hit the steering wheel or whatever. And if you hit the air bag too hard, it breaks your nose and gives you two black eyes.
A quick word? Ok......FAG

Black eye...ha haahh. There Ya go. He’s a faggot cuck.

Yeah, remember the Georgia governor's daughter's boyfriend whose 'car crash' looked like an IED or something?
Perhaps that’s the difference between a “man” and a “scared little boy”.
Make a threat against me, or my family, you had better kill me; because you can rest assured that it’s “Game On”. No warnings. No rules.
If my family is “fair game”, yours is my primary target
Assuming you know who is after you and how to find them. I always thought the cash for clunkers thing was orchestrated to get us all driving cars someone else could control remotely. Makes me wonder what I would do in his shoes.
Yeah, there was definitely something fucky about that 'accident' and I agree that is when he started to cuck out.

black eyes gotta be from icepick lobotomies or some crap.

Bret Baier with square hair.
What got me was Faux calling Virginia for Biden just a few minutes after poll close with 2% of the vote in.
Well he certainly would not be the first threatened by a “car accident...”
