What would surprise most Americans today is how the entire affair, including Wilson’s extended illness and long-term disability, was shrouded in secrecy.

100 years later, and they are pulling the same trick.
Because most of the sheep are that stupid.
And there are people are in denial despite it being televised for all to see.
No. 100 years later they are trying to pretend that someone with such poor health was actually electable.
And they want people to believe he got more votes than anyone in history. This is an obvious farce, only accepted by people who are brain dead from watching too much TV, or news on their phones.
Pls post to PW
Okay, I did.
please link to it over there so I can updoot!

Correct fren...so tired of (((them)))
Spanish flu was during his presidency too. Hmm...
And the Fed was established too, if my memory serves me correctly
Wilson destroyed the United States. Worst president ever.
He also pushed for the US to join the League of Nations. LOL Congress didn't go along with it.
Both good points. I feel that Wilson was the worst of the "consequential presidents" until the last 30 years... buncha assholes there...
Same shit, same assholes.
Wilson let the cancer that is the Federal Reserve into the heart of America. Nothing short of treason.
Yup! No hero of mine. Probably had dementia while president. So much easier to control. Forgot to add; they dragged his dead body all over the country for reasons I still don't understand.
It sounded like that with the phrase saying he “succumbed” to influenza in April 1919, which would commonly be understood to mean he died of influenza in 1919. But he didn’t die. The article goes on to document the rest of his Presidential term, which concluded in March 1921. He died in Feb 1924.
Sorry, I think I've confused the discussion. I was referring to Regan's funeral. Lack of clarity here is my fault.I'm pretty old, but wasn't around for Wilson's demise, lol
Well that happened again in recent history and no, not talking about Bidet. I'm talking about Slick Willie Clinton. He played around while Killary was busy making deals and killing people in the background.
My gay, psychotic demoncrat friend who I grew up with (unfortunately), was a huge Killary Clinton fan and he literally told me this:
I shit you not, this was over 25 years ago. I wasn't even into politics back then, but I was a good listener. I mean, I still am, but I was back then.
I think the reason all the wives got letters at Bush Sr.'s funeral was because they are the actual brains to the operation.
The men are all puppets, but I think all the wives are their puppet masters. They are the ones who make all the decisions, constantly talking in the stooges' ears. So long as the men are provided amply with their chosen vices, be it drugs or children, the women have full control.
Obama didn't write his own speeches and was useless without a teleprompter. It wouldn't surprise me if Big Mike called the shots.
"Follow the wives."
Do not by-pass Ronald Reagan's six month presidency.
The League of Nations ...what a train wreck
You forgot the most important part about Wilson, and what makes him indisputably the worst President in history:
He signed off on the federal reserve.
Or his wife did.
I remember reading about Wilson when I was in school. From what I read and had to research on him, I took an instant dislike to him and his "legacy". The guy was a a communist at heart IMO. FDR was another one I had a great dislike for after reading about him.
I learned about that for the first time on Drunk History. Unless they taught it in school and I just wasn't paying attention that day.
I saw that one, too! Awesome show.
They don't ever come up with anything new.
But he was So Progressive, not to mention, So Brave! But also brain dead? Are patterns emerging?
Supposedly Ronald Reagan had dementia from alzheimer's during his second term but they were trying to hide it and only told people after he served but it wasn't as bad as Biden is now. POTUS? more like POTATUS
Boy, is that the truth.
My high school history teacher told us about this. It seemed amazing at the time.
yep, I remember my US History teaching telling us this stuff.
Interesting article, until the deliberate spin of the last paragraph.
Y'all didn't watch The West Wing?
Nope, couldn't stand that smug ass Martin Sheen.
Is this the ghost of Colonel House?
Good read. Just a correction, a vegetable is someone who is brain dead as well as paralyzed.
Nope; knew it was Wilson.
Though you were going with 43 until you brought up the wife.
