My Mom...just got back from a Trip...BOTH ways there were lack of "CREWS" and Mechanical issues going to and coming back...IT is ALL making sense now :)

Maintenance on aircraft is going to be the thing that bottlenecks the airlines. We can't get parts or A&P techs to supply demand. We desperately need A&P and Avionics in the pipeline.

We figure we Will never fly again which is sad. 1/7 was our last airline flight.
You get used to it. I havent stepped on a plane in 8 years now, even though I go all over the U.S. doing contract work. The only downside is you arent from point A to B in a couple hours. Upside is you get to see a lot of the country you would never otherwise have done....AND it's cheaper. So it may take a day or two to get where yer goin....just plan it out.

Maybe but Delta's one of the worst carriers out there when I used to fly. Granted, it's been 8 years+ so they might have changed but they used to be a turd with wings. Not one Delta flight I ever had was worth speaking about.

My wife and I have taken to just driving for vacations since corona virus insanity hit early last year. No more flights, no more prostrating for DHS imbeciles on a power trip as we go through security.
We bought a large SUV that has room for us, our son and our two ginormous dogs (Newfoundlands). We drive, we have long conversations and actually see this great country. We drove 1500 miles each way on our last two vacations and the time spent driving was more than worth not getting near an airport. And bonus, the dogs get to have fun on the beach instead of being boarded for two weeks.
Next vacation, hop in your car. Talk to your spouse and kids, spoil your pets and fuck the airlines.

Yup, any company that implements this type of policy loses me forever. Even if they don't actually go through with it.
My issue is that these companies sunk to the level of coercion, which will force people to take the jab even if they never intended to (out of fear that they will put their family in jeopardy if they don't).

If people stop flying in protest of mask mandate and mandatory shots for employees, these airlines would have no choice but to back down. Pilots and stewards/stewardesses need to walk out. Cripple the travel industry. These shots do nothing to protect anyone.

The airlines provide nothing anymore: tight, cramped seats; no meal service, unless international and barely a beverage service; filthy cabins; lost luggage; rude stewards and stewardesses; mask Nazi’s; delayed flights. You get the picture. Demand change and refuse to fly until they change. Your life is in your hands when you board a plane with a pilot and copilot who took the mandated shot-possible heart attack or blood clot/stroke mid flight is not a great scenario. You can bet your wallet you will never hear if it happens. It will be an “equipment problem.”
