I found out through another sibling that she took the v- I assumed out of utter ignorance as she is not a big media user (hence the actual paper letter writing). She basically said no thanks. We both took risks- I don't need to see your info- I need to focus on what's good. After the Brexit campaign and years of being totally outnumbered on social media by all my university friends banding together and firing Snopes articles, Open Soceity articles, Guardian bollocks at me I de-friended them all. They have spent their entire lives helping create a soceity I hardly recognise or agree with. I moved back to the UK from abroad ten years ago and not one has visited me although their social media accounts show they have been camping, had days out, visited cities right down the road from me. The arrogant, snobbish, virtuous Islington Set can royally go and screw themselves, none of them own anything, they just rent and therefore have nothing to loose.
