In January I found this study
https://www.aestheticsadvisor.com/2021/02/quercetin-zinc-study.html
Quercetin is a safe natural anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory polyphenolic compound that found in various natural sources include onion, red grapes, honey and citrus fruits. It was shown that quercetin has the ability to chelate zinc ions and act as zinc ionophore.
I have been taking Honey and Zinc with my multi-vitamin for the past 7 months. I ever wore a mask and when my wife got the covit/FLU I did not.
Well, I guess I’m covered. Really. 🍯🍯🍯
just be sure you have real honey. search "honey laundering." big scandal.
Become a bee keeper. Nothing easier. We have a hive in our 4 x 8 meter back yard (small).
Not a lot of work. The bees do most of it.
would love to learn this skill
I had no idea that was a thing. Thanks for enlightening me.
lots of store shelves are corn syrup honey.
buy it local from beekeepers
I often find the raw honey in the discount shelves and I grab as many as I can @ 1/2 price. However, I do like Stakich as a supplier for raw honey. There are times when my blood sugar drops into the 50s-60s and to counter the shakies, I get a couple spoonfuls of honey to bring it backup.. It leaves my mouth feeling clean, too.. 😍
Sometimes when I just wake up before I brush my teeth, I test my blood sugar and if it is in the high 50s, I fill up a spoon of honey and chew on it. morning mouth disappears.. I go ahead and brush anyway..
Judging by her name I'm going to guess that she knows something about honey.
Just a little bit.. 😉😉
This explains why they've been trying to kill the bees.
also: pollination. Big part of modern agriculture.
Honey is a miracle food. Bee spit turned into gold... tell me there is no God!!!
Plant ejaculate eaten and thrown up by a bee turned into gold*. FTFY
Did you know: https://www.naturenates.com/does-honey-expire/
And survival food have "use by date" of only 25 years...
Usually I am not trusting Ingersol Lockwood too much, but literally - bees shall be saved.
Can't find a better home remedy for skin/wound infections of any kind. Honey is truly a gift. It partially explains why the immune systems of previous generations were much more effective than now.
Also, local honey is good for countering allergies. It doesn’t happen overnight, but it works. I used to have fairly bad allergies, and I worked outside for a living, was terrible. Twice a year I got an allergy infection. Then started a spoonful a day before, during, and after allergy season. It took at least 2 seasons, but by the 3rd I didn’t require any more allergy medication. I still have flair ups, but it’s pretty docile nowadays.
Make sure it is raw honey though, local guys usually sell it that way, but cooked/processed honey loses those properties.
I love how the very first thing that internet searches tell you about Manuka is “not medicinal”.
But then you find out there’s a patent for manuka bandages for wounds.
Tupelo honey is the only one that will never crystallize.
I've got some avocado honey.
I've got some of those little packets from kfc that say honey sauce.
read the ingredients , it's corn syrup same with the butter packets
Sweet ! Honey’s got that ‘Vitamin Q’ ! It’s also available over the counter if people aren’t into honey! I love me some Vitamin Q !
Onions too
I’ve been drinking honey in my coffee for like 10 years, it’s my morning health drink basically 🤓
If you're gonna use quercetin for medical purposes you're probably better off just buying quercetin tablets over the counter. You'll get higher doses of quercetin more easily that way, and then you don't really need to change anything in your diet.
How much honey and zinc have you been taking everyday?
One tablespoon of honey and 50mg of zinc
Make sure to get 2-3mg of copper a day too, zinc can cause copper deficiency.
Thanks for the tip! Glad you're wife is okay and that you didn't get the dreaded CC.
Black Elderberry
I drink a table spoon of Raw Local honey every morning.
I've had acid reflux most all my life, and about a year ago my throat started feeling funny, scratchy, and I was coughing more and more. I started taking a table spoon of raw locally produced honey, a little at a time, and letting it drain down my throat, sit on my throat for awhile, and the problem completely disappearance.
Have you been using medication that has omeprazole in it, to treat acid reflux prior to the honey method?
I know omeprazole in general like nexium is bad for long term as I've just discovered this from this board and I'm looking to wean myself off omeprazole, after taking it for quite a long time. If you're saying a spoonful of raw local honey really does the trick, then I'll do it so I don't have to take omeprazole.
If you can’t get off the omeprazole make sure you take vitamins to off set the malabsorption. Mag and Ca especially bad. Also probiotics for the possible cdiff.
Honey, I shrunk the virus!
Moreover it is tasty.
Thanks for the info.
We have had all kinds of flowers on our property for years with bees everywhere, they love trumpet vine, and the sunflowers this year are everywhere! Another herb they love is oregano with all the bees I have never been stung by them, it's always the wasps.
Isn't chelating what Bill Clinton used to ask interns for?
Look for honey from your local beekeepers, as lots of honey on regular store shelves if from china!
I take honey for allergies and when I got the Rona it was just like allergies.
I'm glad to hear this. I have been sweetening my dandelion tea this way and wondered what other precautions I should be taking.
