I like to take it with a spoonful of honey. You'll have a bitter aftertaste in your mouth for awhile no matter what!
Put the dose on a teaspoon it's a jelly like glob. Take another spoon and put some peanut butter over it. Dab of local honey on top is nice. Try and get it all with the tip of your tongue and down the hatch. It's really not bad. Burps taste like those carmel apple suckers.
There are graduated measurements indicat d at 250lb intervals on the applicator. There are a number of notches across the plunger rod of the applicator. These can be used to help gauge dosage relative to the graduated intervals labels. These graduations are etched/embossed at; 250, 500, 750, 1000, 1250 lb's worth of horse weight. You can use this info to extrapolate how many notches, should be given to your other critters based on their weight. Gets you down to maybe a 15-20lb interval scale.

Two Notches and two teeth on the plunger for 100lbs; or, a bit more than 3/16” line of paste excreted onto a smooth, flat surface. That’s for about 2.27mg per each notch and tooth based upon .2mg per kg of body weight. Be sure to slowly push while looking at the delivery end to advance to paste to the end of the tube. Good luck

Depending on the weight, it could go quick. The higher dose if you actually have coof is 0.4mg per kg of weight. A 225lb horse would only get just about 4 doses from a tube. If the whole horse family got sick, and are big boned, well you see where I'm going :)

Yep, that was my school! It was a great place to grow up. I feel pretty lucky to have lived there. I know it's changed alot, but when I visited there after several years, I was very pleasantly surprised that San Diego county had turned into LA or gotten overly developed. I took a dose this weekend (this exact brand). I was relieved to not see parasites in my stool the next day, but then I wondered if this particular brand might be the "back loaded" version? Where all the meds are at the very end of the tube?
Side note: I already dont eat sugar- absence of parasites could also be due to that.
I doubt they are back loaded because they are designed to administer to a variety of different animals of different sizes at different stages of life. It is designed so that relatively precise doses can be given to animals by weight, not necessarily the entire tube given to one animal at one time.
You won't necessarily discover you had worms. I was hoping that I would have because I imagined I'd feel healthier than I do right now if I killed of any parasites.
