I understand what you are saying and can agree somewhat but chances are pretty high that people in the federal government who are refusing to get the jab and might be fired because of this are most likely the last remaining GOOD people in the federal government. So if they shrink them out, it is now a zero resistance nazi regime. That is the big downside of this. Just and idea worth thinking about.

What happens when a classified program's Key Personnel decide not to take the vaxx? And walk out the door? Everything comes to a screeching halt. The missing people must be replaced by the appropriate expertise, vetted and investigated, cleared, and briefed up to the status of the program at the time their predecessors left.
Intergovernmental classified cooperation would also be affected.
Intelligence collection and analysis agencies could be hollowed out like a spongiform cow's brain.
If you are willing to contemplate, I'm sure other comparable dilemmas will come to mind. Including holes in the chain of command for the use of nuclear weapons.
I understand all of the "Fed Govt employee haters" out there, but you need to remember there are thousands that do thankless jobs. My spouse is one such person. Her small team is responsible for assisting soldiers that get fucked over by DoD finance get their money back when the DoD accountants fuck up a service members pay. That shit happens every month to WAY MORE than you would think. They bust their ass to make sure they get their money back as quickly as possible. Every single day they get at least 10 new 'cases'.
Half of her team is unvaxed and will NOT be getting the Vax. So, half the team whose only job is to advocate for service members financially will be fired. When ever the Govt. shuts down for whatever reason they are at the TOP of the 'Critical to Mission' list.
This has the potential to create a valid reason for the military stepping in sooner rather than them having to wait for the audits to run their course.....
They need a reason that can quickly be proven to be good enough for them to act but not so bad as to create instability/excuses for rioting, this could be hitting the sweet spot...
