Manipulation by others has caused normal folk to take personally what used to be simple disagreements or differences of opinion. It used to be, no harm, no foul. Surprisingly enough, many of my "liberals" friends and acquaintances do agree with me on the identification of many of the problems we all see occurring within our country. Where we often differ is on how to fix those problems. What I have noticed over the last year or so is that many of those same liberal friends of mine are beginning to see a different side to what is happening in the world that just a couple of years ago they would never have even considered. We do need to come together where we can. Americans have a history laying their differences aside when faced with a common threat. That day I do believe is coming. Many I think are realizing that it was not Covid that was the threat - but the people behind the promotion of it. Once that light bulb goes on, it is just a matter of time before the rest of the corners are illuminated as well.
