Nor do they know the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ (Rev 3:9). And of course, they DENY Jesus, THE SON OF GOD, who was/is the ULTIMATE spiritual descendant of Father Abraham. They are nothing like either of them. If they were honest, they would confess only to being a little 'Semitic'.
Concurrently, if I want to be a Christian, The Kingdom of Heaven must be uppermost in my mind and heart. But when you know The Father, where else - other than His Kingdom - could one want to be? SHAME ON ME, when I become distracted with concern for what 'others' are doing while I neglect the Household of God!
And I thank Him each and every day. I often wondered why, early in my life, why my life was went the way it did. Why it was so hard for me. Pedophilia, abuse, anxiety, depression, and war will do that to a person. I even fell away from His Grace, asking him "why me?" The last 6 yrs or so has shown me the "why." And I'm now grateful for the experiences. Even the horrible ones. It's helped make me who I am today. A freaking warrior. One of His warriors. And I Love Him for it.

God woke us from sleep for another day ,to maybe walk with him.

I often wonder what makes me different, and seemingly immune to the brainwashing that I have been exposed to all of my life. I know God has a plan for each of us, and I pray that I find His purpose for me.
This morning I prayed that god please show me that I’m on the right path and literally not just going crazy and later turned on my phone- literally first thing I saw was this! AMAZING!
I hope so. I wish I could see that reason more clearly. It's been a lot of hardship so far. I don't think I'm making much of a positive impact on the world by trying to let other people know what's going on.
I wish I could see a way to do it better or a way to be able to just let people be and wake up on their own?
It took many years of misery brought on by self loathing and the past cruelties of a former life that nearly destroyed me as a compassionate, forgiving individual. I will be the first to admit I lost my way and also the first to thank God for never abandoning me, even when I disavowed Him. He always remained unlike everything else and everyone else in my entire life. I didn’t understand why I had to live such a horrible reality from birth. Maybe I was less of a person like my abusers told me or maybe I wasn’t human at all. The Lord, in all His glory, rescued me at 5 years old and gave me a real dad and mom. Without Him and them, I would absolutely be as evil or maybe more so than the targets we currently hunt. It has taken me four plus decades to forgive the deep evil that was visited against me but here I am Lord, here I am! I will NEVER look back, only forward into His future! I fight beside some of the most beautiful and amazing people I have ever known! All my love and best wishes frens! Together, with God, we will bring about a Golden Age where ALL people are free and God rules supreme! NCSWIC
We do have free will. If we chose God we are not promised no suffering, we ARE promised eternity with Him. If we chose Satan we may have it easier here on earth but we will spend eternity suffering in Hell. Unlike Satan God wants us to come to Him freely not with coercion. Right now we are seeing Satan force us to chose him over God!
Ok really poor analogy, but did you wake up your pet? You do take care of your pet. You provide for your pet. You protect your pet. Your pet has the free will to misbehave but you are less likely to keep a pet that does. Even if you love your pet you don’t usually want to be bitten, or have your stuff destroyed. Mess too often on the floor and most people give up on their pets, turning them in for others to deal with. Of course there are people that purposely chose pets that would turn off the typical owner or train them to be what most would consider unacceptable behavior. Now realize we are not pets in any way but the analogy fits. Your pet has free will to reject the owners favor or not. Those pets that chose to love us back may still have bad things happen. IE: illness, accident, loneliness when the family is away but they still give us love and we as owners reward their loyalty.
God gives us insurmountable grace as we face our days but we’ve still have choice to follow His guidance to make our lives easier and not end up in a pound or we can reject Him and face the consequences of our choice. I pray that you realize God is not just a set of rules but a real entity. He actually lives in our lives even if we can’t see Him. He wants us to accept the gifts He offers us and realize if we do we can remain in His presence forever. Please try to think of Gods from a different perspective. He is not threatening you with Hell but trying to save you from it.
This makes no sense to me. God created everything including hell, no? He created the rules that determine if you go to Hell. He's the one who ultimately decides if you go to Hell. This is the definition of threatening you with Hell if you don't follow the rules. Now you could argue that someone may deserve that punishment for their actions on Earth, but that's an entirely different point than God somehow trying to "save" you from something he created and something that he imposes on you.
God created Hell as punishment for Satan and his fallen angels. Satan wanted to be like God. He wanted humans to worship him. He left heaven, taking a few other fallen angels (now called demons) with him on a mission to convince humans to follow him as apposed to God. Doesn’t it make sense that both sides gather their supporters in their respective realms?
The rules you may be referring to may be the10 commandments. Initially God gave us the 10: commandments to ease our way of getting along with each other and make us understand that on our own we can’t win our way to God. They are signposts leading us to God and a better life here on earth if you will. They are both civil and moral ruies. They are in the first testament. They are the rules we couldn’t keep because we had free will. Freedom of choice is paramount to God. We are to willingly commit to Him.
If you believe breaking the rules casts you into hell you’d be sadly mistaken. Throughout the 1rst testament man was known break the covenant with God. Siding with Satan as you would. Instead, as of the second testament we live under grace. God gave up his precious sons life so that we could be saved. Christ’s death demonstrates how much God loves us. He gave this sacrifice because He didn’t want us to be lost to Satan. Because of this sacrificial grace God saves us. It’s all very simple yet Satan twists the truth making it hard for a human to find his way to the truth. We instinctively know we can’t follow these rules. Many Christians try to follow these laws and harshly criticize those that aren’t able to keep these rules, but the truth is we should try to follow the rules to honor God. To show our love for Him. We fail miserably but in the end it is the love of God that saves us from the Hell He created for Satan and his minions.
God has a purpose for all of us. We can all contribute to make this world a better place.
