Because NOTHING is EVER enough for "some" people AND, if someone DARES to express even ONE opinion that differs from their narrative, it's sufficient to negate EVERYTHING that person has EVER done or said that does/did comport with the narrative.

Take a complete arsehole, 99.99% complete shit. Then, one day, they do something nice, and apparently the sun now shines out of their orifice.

I do believe this guy has an alternative way of thinking and that he thinks for himself. MAYBE there are legit flat-earthers, but he could just be the one they put out there and say “look at this flat-earther who won’t get vaxxed”. You know how they do. I’m still glad he refused it and it’s making good conversations happen, I just don’t trust anything.
Selfishness isn't universally bad or negative. You gotta be selfish to lookout for you. The best person to look out for you is you. Be selfish AF when it comes to your health.
