The police union should tell Lightfoot that... if a SINGLE POLICEMAN IS DISMISSED for refusal to take the vaccine... NO OVERTIME will be offered at all to any police to cover that position. That void will simply go unfilled.
If Lightfoot suspends 1,000 police, then there will be 1,000 less police on the street. No overtime will cover those positions, no officers will be shifted from other duties to cover those positions. :>)

I did not know that about the Bears, but it’s not surprising. Like so many blue-controlled cities, people with means can pack up and hightail it out of those cesspools. The problem is that so many people of lesser means are stuck in these hell holes all the while the mayors and governors are grinding more people into homelessness, encouraging criminals, putting more people at risk (and the police themselves at risk) as they deliberately hobble the police force, etc. These sick, twisted, marxist beasts get off on destroying cities they’ve been entrusted to care for.

It used to be that Chicago was a required stop on concert tours but in recent years a lot more venues have been built further out into the suburbs that big name bands play at instead.
