Well I was always more conservative than Republican. I was a registered Republican my whole life. Im now not affiliated with any party.
My grandpa use to say it's just a different gang in charge. I thought he was just old and grumpy. Im am old now, lol. Grumpy too I guess. Mostly disappointed and tired.

What a heartache and tragedy!
The first 72 hours after an initial brain injury are crucial for survival as the injured brain swells within the skull during this time, and the swelling can cut off the blood supply leading to increased damage or death.
The 72 hours I endured after my child's injury was the longest 3 days of my life. Excruciating. I can guess that there are likely other families who still have another day to wait to see if their child can hang on to life, and then they will begin to understand the extent of the injury.
May God give them peace, strength, and rest during this time and grace for the days ahead.
My son who had a TBI from falling down our concrete basement steps. He had huge hematomas on the back of skull that we could see when we were brought in to see him in the ER room. They told us they had to sedate him because he was seizing uncontrollably, they had 4 people holding him still. I didn't know what the outcome would be but I prayed for him. He was transferred to a trauma center and when I met with the neurologist he said his pupils are reactive. That was good news, he did have a subdural hematoma and a skull fx. The next day he was off the ventilator and asking the same questions over and over, bless his heart. I believe it wasn't his time to go and that the Lord was preparing us for what was to come, his murder by a love interest. She received 7 years for manslaughter and was out in 4 years. Meanwhile, our life is pretty much over.
