Nothing wrong with weed. And you shouldn't care what people put into their own bodies anyways. Especially since there have been a grand total of zero overdoses because of it. Alcohol is a million times worse.
You made a statement about weed then went on to say you don't like them. You never mentioned the other shit until now. So why don't you start with the facts instead of whining like a little bitch over some weed being grown.
Just because you were psyoped by the government to think weed is bad, it doesn't make it bad. I'm not butthurt at all but you seem like a holier than thou my shit don't stink kind of person. Ignorant at best. Have a good rest of your life.
You said there was nothing wrong with it, and that's the primary way people "use" it. Please link me to your scientific studies that stating there is nothing wrong with it. I accept it's not as bad as crack, etc. But it's still a drug.
I can maybe see a ban on weed ads. But I don’t think you should ban anyone from advertising their store… that just so happens to sell weed or whatever.
Okay kids, once upon a time in America it was illegal for drug companies to advertise on Television. If we just turn back the clock most of the socialist fucking shit we see on television would not be there.
A most excellent idea. Although I have to say that one would have to be truly numb to not notice the marketing strategies they use: Happy people doing fun things with loved ones, pleasant music..and a quiet, barely noticeable voiceover offering the many ways the drug could change your life most unpleasantly and even kill you.
It's ludicrous, and an insult to Humanity. I'd love to see an end to it.
The only legitimate reason a prescription drug has for doing advertisement is to make doctors aware of its existence. Such drugs should only be allowed to “advertise” to doctors and not the general public (though all the information should be publicly available anyways, just not in any attention grabby way).
Years ago, I was wondering why all these pharmaceutical companies were advertising ANYTHING on TV. They all have an army or Reps who get paid very handsomely to make sure the good doctor is aware of the latest pimple cream or ED pill....VERY HANDSOMELY.
So, along comes CONVID....and the light goes on.
They positioned themselves to take complete control of the media by becoming one of their biggest sponsors, and now they are the hand that no one will bite.
Odd that there are no advertisements on tv for COVID “vaccines” listing the possible side effects. Why is that? Ask your doctor if this “vaccine” is right for you………. ?
I haven't watched TV for several decades but my folks watch like crazy. They tell me damn near every commercial is for some drug ("ask your doctor about..."). Someone did a video on youtube "sponsored by Pfizer" supercut and it's frightening (but not surprising) how much ad money goes into the supposed "news" shows.
That's how it used to be, for you youngin's that don't know!!! There was ZERO drug advertising on TV when I was young. I don't remember when they legalized it, but wow what a mistake.
"You may experience internal bleeding. You may lose your eyesight. Some people experience diarrhea 24/7. Heart attacks are common. But ASK YOUR DOCTOR TODAY IF HE WILL PRESCRIBE OXERXTINIA FOR YOU!"
Here's an excellent pharmaceutical ad, "Jeremiah Peabody's Poly Unsaturated Quick Dissolving Fast Acting Pleasant Tasting Green and Purple Pills" by Ray Stevens.
I agree but regarding marijuana, I don’t like the THC high crap part because I want to be clear headed and be able to think. That being said, I have severe sciatica due to a herniated disc in my low back that I have already had two surgeries on, done physical therapy, steroid shots, RX Painkillers, Muscle Relaxers , Nerve Blockers and more, aquatic therapy, inversion table, chiropractic and more on and I’m at the point of using a cane from weakness and loss of muscle and I’m back and forth between feeling like a butcher knife is stabbed in my butt and being twisted with shooting pain all down my leg to the knife feeling with total leg and foot numbness. The only thing that is helping is CBD Gummies (no THC) so no high, combined with Turmeric and Naproxen.
How about all the marijuana billboards? there all over the place here in Michigan.
No shit. It’s hard to take “medicinal” marijuana seriously when there billboards for the “420 Blaze It” dispensary.

Human lungs are okay with smoking weed? I think we disagree on the scale of what bad is and what worse is.
who said you had to smoke it?

I'd be ok with that.
Back to 1939 so we can do things differently :)

The pharmaceutical dialog is incessant on all platforms. I say no more.
Brilliant idea
do you have any of these vague symptoms?
ask your doctor about the purple pill.
now why TF would i ask my doctor about every pill i see advertised on TV?
the only reason to advertise, is to sell more product, than you otherwise would have sold

Oh hell yeah, I'm all for stopping those ads.
Thank you for your info. Going to see referendom.

When a good portion of the not-so Super Bowl ads at millions per 30 second slot are of little pharma, it's time to stop.
Just curious, who is pictured in the blue heart?
JFK JR they were really good friends.
LOVE!
Sorcery be DAMMED!
OOH Dog Comms! May I suggest class- action lawsuits? I hear they are very effective....

Nuremberg.
Why the FJB has the term, NUREMBERG, not gone viral?
Spelling and grammar are not that hard for people of our sophistication.
You are correct. Pharmaceutical.
I am so sick and tired of the mental health pill commercials that try to brainwash people into problems that lead them to ask docs for drugs
I recently read that the US and I think New Zealand are the only countries that allow pharmaceutical advertising.
☝️
It does help pay for important infomercials.
CNN, MSNBC, FOX, and the rest of the fake media would be out of business by the end of the week if drug companies couldn't advertise.

We cancelled our Reader's Digest subscription decades ago when they became overrun with pharmaceutical ads.
They really did too as I recall.
Been saying that for years..
It used to be banned…
"You may experience internal bleeding. You may lose your eyesight. Some people experience diarrhea 24/7. Heart attacks are common. But ASK YOUR DOCTOR TODAY IF HE WILL PRESCRIBE OXERXTINIA FOR YOU!"
Yes please, ban these snake oil salesmen TODAY!
I just barfed from laughing.
I'm actually surprised they banned cigarettes ads. If corpirations had the power back then that they do now, it never would have happened.
Good point.
Let's ban the media altogether.
It used to be banned it wasn't until 1996 that they started allowing pharmaceutical advertizing.
Coincidentally it started with Pfizer advertising an arthritis medicine for dogs Rimadyl.
I know this because I worked for an inbound call center and we took calls to send out brochures for this product.
Interestdang
Hallelujah! Please God. Make it happen!

I have been saying this for years.
ABC News - the biggest drug pushers.
Yes. I am in favor of that!
YES!!!!!
Ban pharma, liquor, smoking, weed ads. Ban tv-show embedded product placement.
I'm not a big ban fan, but the covid jab ads followed immediately by another drug ad is too much. I'm not sure why I'm surprised.
Legal ads as well.
