Soy is in almost all store bought bread, crackers, chips, salad dressings, condiments, etc...I am trying to get it out of my house. Any thoughts?

When I make this way it comes out like a brick.
I'm trying again, I froze the berries before grinding them in the vitamix, sifted the flour (almost everything passed through the 8cup crank softer) and added a roux to the sourdough.... tomorrow it will be baked.
Breads I make with store bought flour is excellent. I want to make my own with organic grains to avoid the glysophates

If you start with small amounts I think it will work. No way you are going to be producing as much as a mini bakery though.
My question was about making bread from successfully with flour made from wheat berries is a vitamix.
Invest in an actual grain mill. I use the wondermill pretty much every day. Worth every cent.

Eat one ingredient foods ... beef, butter, bacon, eggs ... some vegs if you want.
All processed foods are crap ... big food is just as bad as big pharma ... they are feeding each other.
I only eat whole food (ie no processed food) plant based. Lost 30 lbs in 3 months, cholesterol went from 230 to 150, Bp went from 135/85 to 110/65. NO SOY at all. I also cut out all added sugar and oil. I feel great. Had to buy all new clothes though.

I can’t have soy, and although it is in many products, I have no trouble avoiding it. You do have to read the labels carefully though, because, as you note, it is prevalent.

My kid has hashimotos and gave up soy and gluten. She has the hashi in remission after 2 years. Soy is in many things in many forms. Chocolate is especially hard for her to buy but IKEA has soy free chocolate. Coconut aminos taste like soy and are safe.

Fermented soy has no effect on hormon levels. Soy sauce etc if fermented legitimately is fine.
Aldi seems to not carry a whole lot of soy products (in what I buy, anyway).
Find a local cattle farmer. Buy whole cow. Eat nose to tail. Add in fruit and honey. Problem solved.
Fresh foods. The ones that god gave us. Fruits, vegetables, and animals. Anything processed, do your best to stay away from.

So I have been unusually tired/drained for a few years. This came to a head when I was walking. I suddenly felt completely drained of energy. I was shakey and weak. What the heck. I feared I developed diabetes. So I got myself tested. No nothing, blood sugar was good. So this goes on for three more years! I kept thinking and getting tested for diabetes? Well a coworker is listening to me talking about my loss of energy. He asked, have you checked your T levels? What? My testosterone levels. No I never had it tested. So during my physical I asked for my t levels to be checked. The doctor did not want to do this but I insisted. Lo and behold my t level was under 100. The normal range is around 500. I went to a endocrinologist and he tested for many things. I am healthy no thyroid problems just super low on testosterone. So I have been on testosterone now for 3 months. I feel better ( not awesome) just better. I can do things after work and have enough energy to take care of the house maintenance. Long story short, if you have a feeling of unexplained weakness as a man get your t levels checked. If I can help someone with this experience I hope you get better. SOY, is so high in our diet its making men weak. I believe the impossible burger is very high in soy. Magnitudes higher. Thank you for sticking with a long post.

Read label, buy organic and local if you can. Fresh or frozen always better. Make your own. We have not had any soy in our house in years, hard at first but doable. Good luck.you will be healthier for it.
there are some branded products that are soy free, in my minimal effort at the store last week, I found simply dressed salad dressing doesn't have it. olive oil or canola mayonaise, Jif natural peanut butter. I know there are better options, but this would be a step in the right direction. I guess I need to get a bread maker, doesn't seem to be any bread out there.
It is in everything. Chocolate, every mayonaise, almost every cookie. Here are some items I buy now to get the kids off soy, especially boys as soy has estrogen.

soybean oil. I did not find any mayo without soybean oil. I checked every brand. I used hellmans. Maybe there is one version.

Canola oil is shit oil.. vegetable oils suck.. make your own mayo with avocado oil and olive oil.. it's super easy in a blender
they do make olive oil mayo too, but I am sure making your own is better. I am new to this natural food thing. I don't know much about canola, but I don't believe it is estrogen laden like soy.
I've had to eliminate soy based protein bars. I noticed that whenever I ate soy protein bars, I started to feel sick. Sadly, almost every protein bar is made from soy.
soy in food is easy….read the label…..soy manufactured from parabens and so forth….not easy.

Go keto, stop eating sugar, crackers chips and processed carbs. Focus on good fats like avocado oil, olive oil, coconut oil and tea seed oil. Tea seed is the best oil. Try intermittent fasting (16 hours minimum of no eating, then 8 hour eating window). Been doing this for years and always feel like a champion.
