Did you know children require more oxygen than adults for their growing bodies?

Face masks restrict oxygen intake and cause damaging carbon dioxide buildup. This is a crime against humanity and I am not exaggerating saying this. These children are going to have many medical issues going forward.

OSHA has set guidelines stating when oxygen in air decreases below 19.5%, this is when damage to human internal organs (heart, liver, brain, etc.) begins. The air we breathe has 21% oxygen. That's only a 1.5% drop in oxygen wearing a mask. Not only does oxygen content fall below 19.5% within a minute or so, but the dead space in the mask collects carbon dioxide which is then inhaled in every breath. Less and less oxygen is being used. All face masks are harmful when wearing them for extended period of time. OSHA and the CDC know this! From the 1918 Spanish flu, medical scientists knew that face masks didn't work and were harmful in many different ways.

What happened to the long established guidelines for face masks established by OSHA? See 29 CFR 1910.146 Paragraph (d)(2)(iii) of the Respiratory Protection Standard.

OSHA safety standards, specifically 29 CFR §1910.134. OSHA Director of Safety Programs stated that the scientific research conducted by OSHA establishes that having an oxygen level below 19.5% may be deadly, or result in organ failure and severe bacterial infections (e.g. pleurisy). Wearing a face mask immediately reduces oxygen flow well below 19.5%, in clear violation of OSHA own safety standards.

Children who frequently wear face masks for long period of time may suffer from hypoxia and hypercapnia. The damage caused from oxygen restriction and carbon dioxide buildup is often irreversible. Many people who wear face masks don't know that the damage is occurring. The long-term effect is very real and troubling. Carbon dioxide buildup (hypercapnia) in the red blood cells causes damage to internal organs, but also causes acidosis. Acidosis is the cause for all cancers. Most of the damage caused by face masks will be start to become apparent in the next few years and long term.

29 CFR 1910.146 Paragraph (d)(2)(iii) of the Respiratory Protection Standard

“Human beings must breathe oxygen . . . to survive, and begin to suffer adverse health effects when the oxygen level of their breathing air drops below [19.5 percent oxygen]. Below 19.5 percent oxygen . . . , air is considered oxygen-deficient. At concentrations of 16 to 19.5 percent, workers engaged in any form of exertion can rapidly become symptomatic as their tissues fail to obtain the oxygen necessary to function properly (Rom, W., Environmental and Occupational Medicine, 2nd ed.; Little, Brown; Boston, 1992). Increased breathing rates, accelerated heartbeat, and impaired thinking or coordination occur more quickly in an oxygen-deficient environment. Even a momentary loss of coordination may be devastating to a worker if it occurs while the worker is performing a potentially dangerous activity, such as climbing a ladder. Concentrations of 12 to 16 percent oxygen cause tachypnea (increased breathing rates), tachycardia (accelerated heartbeat), and impaired attention, thinking, and coordination (e.g., Ex. 25-4), even in people who are resting.

At oxygen levels of 10 to 14 percent, faulty judgment, intermittent respiration, and exhaustion can be expected even with minimal exertion (Exs. 25-4 and 150). Breathing air containing 6 to 10 percent oxygen results in nausea, vomiting, lethargic movements, and perhaps unconsciousness. Breathing air containing less than 6 percent oxygen produces convulsions, then apnea (cessation of breathing), followed by cardiac standstill. These symptoms occur immediately. Even if a worker survives the hypoxic insult, organs may show evidence of hypoxic damage, which may be irreversible (Exs. 25-4 and 150; also reported in Rom, W. [see reference in previous paragraph]).

OSHA further states the following:

“In some cases, respirator use itself can cause illness and injury to employees. There are a number of physiological burdens that are associated with the use of certain types of respirators. The weight of the respirator, breathing resistances during both normal operation and if the air-purifying element is overloaded, and rebreathing exhaled air from respirator "dead space" can all increase the physiologic burden of respirator use (Exs. 113, 22-1, 64-427). Job and workplace conditions, such as the length of time a respirator must be worn, the level of physical exertion required of a respirator user, and environmental conditions, can also affect the physiological burden (Exs. 113, 64-363). In addition, workers who wear glasses or hearing aids may have problems achieving appropriate fit with some respirator face pieces.”

Atmospheric air contains 20.95% oxygen. OSHA has provided regulations when wearing a respirator and state when the oxygen content drops below 19.5%, it is harmful to the human body. A 19.5% oxygen content is only a 1.45% drop in oxygen from atmospheric O2 content. Again, OSHA states:

“. . . rebreathing exhaled air from respirator "dead space" can all increase the physiologic burden of respirator use (Exs. 113, 22-1, 64-427).”

Human exhale contains 84 percent non-breathable gases. How much exhale is trapped in the dead space of a face mask that is breathed back into the lungs and the effects of its physiologic burden? It’s deleterious extent? Duration?

If you have a fingertip oxygen sensor, you can compare the "with mask" and "w/o mask" oxygen levels in your blood. I was in the hospital last year and mine dropped about 4% with the mask on.

N95 were originally designed by 3M for the coal industry because of the particulates. OSHA has always stated that N95 are for environments with high particulates. They are not designed for viruses. The CDC is making this stuff up as it goes. Using a N95 masks for preventing the spread of viruses is like using a screw driver to take off a hex bolt.

Air contains 21% oxygen, 78% Nitrogen, and 0.04% Carbon dioxide. Human exhale has 16% oxygen, 78% Nitrogen, and 4.0% Carbon dioxide.

OSHA refers to the area in the mask as "dead space". Human exhale contains 84 percent non-breathable gases. How much exhale is trapped in the dead space of a face mask that is breathed back into the lungs and the effects of its physiologic burden? It’s deleterious extent? Duration?

Much more than what is safe. Human exhale is part of the excretory system that rids the body of toxins and waste and vents it into the surrounding air where it dissipates and is neutralized. The jet streams of exhale caused by wearing a mask are at the edges of the mask. Two of these jet streams shoot exhale upwards directly toward the eyes. Our noses are designed pointing downward and away from the eyes.

I made eye contact with a baby in the store a few days ago and she beamed with delight when I smiled at her. Everyone but the two of us were masked. She was so surprised! It’s so sad what is happening to children.

My toddler was at mass with us on Sunday and was flirting and being cute with those behind us. Then, out of no where, he started weeping, like sad tears, crying. We weren’t paying attention to see what had triggered it. Mind you, he’s 2 1/2, so I usually pay no mind to him “crying”, unless it’s real tears. This was real tears. I feel in my heart he was crying because everyone around us was masked. They were making eye contact with him, but he couldn’t read their faces. It irritates me to high hell these idiots still wear masks. Luckily for him, I’ll be home with him and probably will eventually homeschool him. He only encounters masked people at church and at stores. It’s so disturbing so many poor children are being deprived this developmental aid. And then these idiot parents are masking their kids, too. Sad.

In IL, they reinstated it in early Sept just in time for back to school. We ended up driving to a neighboring state, only 30 mins away to attend mass, where they didn’t have a mandate. My other family started going even further to a Latin mass. We’ve only recently started attending locally due to the Nativity season and also our 16 year old is getting confirmed. We are a minority that refuses to wear a mask. But then afterwards we’ll see most the parish eating breakfast, maskless at the local diner, or after a funeral they’ll be bellied up at the bar at the VFW, no masks. Makes no sense.

I've said from day one this would be a consequence. It's common sense. Babies and kids watch adults faces to learn not only speech, But also social cues, facial expressions, etc. These kids will all be significantly delayed in all speech and social areas, add to that the constant "fear" and they will likely never be normal. It truly is a crime against these precious kids

Our caseloads are booming. I’m seeing first hand with little ones in my family who are delayed. Facial expressions are so important for language development, as are the postures you make with your mouth. Masks muffle speech- kids with hearing issues are at an increased disadvantage because they’re not able to pick up visual cues. I truly believe that a lot of kids out there who may have dodged the ASD bullet were shoved over the threshold due to lockdowns, masks, lack of physical contact, high levels of anxiety. We have a generation at risk because the “adults in the room” were so worried about themselves they neglected their kids. I have a friend who has a 2 year old granddaughter who has never been to the grocery store or a birthday party. What type of life are we “saving” these kids for?

We've called this out from the beginning.

Babies learn a lot of vocal and subtle behavioral cues from, say, trips to a grocery store and the interactions within.

What is hiding behind the masks of our little ones? A wide open gaping mouth desperate for oxygen!!

The removal of half our faces from sight is dehumanizing us in a major way. The psychological impact on children is going to be far more damaging than we could ever imagine!

My child was very speech delayed. (before covid) It resulted in her being delayed in everything else as well. We had her on an IEP for about everything. If you don't catch it early and work with them on the development, those neuropathways will never develop. My understanding is you have till about the age of 3 to get things corrected, before you cannot fix some of the developmental issues. My heart goes out to those kids with families unaware of the lifelong consequences of something seemingly so inconsequential as delayed speech.

permalink save report block reply
▲ 1 ▼
– Minimagamama 1 point 4 years ago +1 / -0

Inconsequential? Hardly! There is data out there which indicates over 80% of the prison population has a communication deficit. If you can’t communicate your wants, needs and ideas, your frustration and anger increase. Which leads to physical expressions of that anger. I applaud you seeking help for your child. So many think they’ll “grow out of it”. Well done!!

I said at the outset that masks are horrible for babies and toddlers.

Not just bad for them to wear them but bad for them to not be able to see full facial expressions. We are going to have a generation of people that lack empathy and the ability to read emotional clues.

Also keep in mind that children need to see the lips of parents, adults and siblings move to learn how to make sounds and learn to speak. Developing children learn from not only practice, but by observation. Masking is going to have all kinds of developmental problems for children. Inability to recognize moods and feelings by facial displays. This next generation is going to have it very rough. Let's hope this clown world bullshit ends sooner, rather than later. The longer this goes on, the worse it is going to be.
