The numbers sound about right. Putin’s troops are rolling into celebrations of liberation as the Ukrainian military flees. The Russians should hopefully have 100% by next weekend if all goes well.
The majority of Ukraine is quite obviously violently opposed to Russia's invasion. There have been zero clips of liberation "celebrations".
When you say "quite obviously", you're referring to what you've seen on propaganda feeds such as Western MSM right? Or do you have some actual information sources?

The facts on the ground at this point are muddy at best. Half of the videos we see make less and less sense. The more we see the less sense any of it makes.

The fact you can show 1-2 videos of small towns in the far eastern side celebrating Russian troops doesn't mean Ukraine as a whole feels that way. And frankly if you were told celebrate when the troops roll in or get shot... you'd do it too. Don't say that isn't a possibility because you know it is. Back to its muddy at best.

I suggest you check yourself. Look back closely at what you believe are facts and you will find after close examination it is confirmation bias.

40% corresponds to the maps I have seen. Think of a thick layer of control reaching inward all along the border of the Eastern half of the country. 75% losses means the Ukrainian armed forces have lost cohesion and control. They have no chance of victory and would be better off surrendering.
