I am a healthcare worker in the IT field, 100% remote. CMS mandated the vax and my hospital told me on thanksgiving eve that we would be terminated in December if no vax or approved exemption. It gets shut down temporarily then upheld in court for CMS hospitals only. After the “dark winter”, the day after spring starts everything starts to go away. Just yesterday they “re reviewed” my previously denied exemption and approved it and I can now go back to work. Was it all methodical to force as many as they could through scare tactics all this time knowing they wouldn’t go through with it?

They thought everyone would obey. When they wouldn't, they quickly ran out of healthcare workers. Oopsies! Suddenly, everyone is "cleared for takeoff."

My husband works for a federal contractor. They threatened everybody in multiple ways to get the shot. He refused to get it. He decided to ride it out and lose his job if necessary. Fast-forward a few months, and he's the only one who didn't get the shot, and he's still got his job and the threats are suddenly gone. Oh, and everybody on his job site got the coof in January, except my husband, the one guy who didn't get vaxxed.
They knew that people would panic and cave over the fear of losing their jobs. Absolutely disgusting.
The same happened to me. I even had an HR person tell me that the company may choose to let me go anyway even though the mandate kept getting delayed. I almost laughed in her face. I'm in a critical position, and it would take months to train a replacement. Go ahead, fire me. I'll have another job by Monday and you will no longer be able to provide a contracted service to your Federal customer. I double dare you to fire me.
This was the same tactic used all over and many of my friends caved quickly. I'm like your husband, the only one that didn't get it at work, and since I won't wear a mask, I get dirty looks and mean comments from coworkers. I tried to tell them "I'm here to help" but they are still too brainwashed to shut the TV off and ask their own questions.
I hope your husband doesn't get any backlash. I'm not welcome in the office anymore and was threatened again by HR to wear my mask whenever the local "positivity rates" are deemed too high.
They did the same thing at Microsoft. Just a week before they opened up they told everyone they had to get vaxed or the badge access would be cut off.

It is sickening. My best friend who is a massage therapist was considered a “health care worker” under Jay Inslee’s mandate. Him and his wife who was also facing a jab mandate couldn’t both afford to lose their jobs at the same time so he got the jab so his wife could get a new job.
My friend probably got lucky though. He felt nothing from the jabs other then the soreness from the injection. No sickness or anything. I think he got one of the saline lots.
Me and my husband were in the same boat. Both medical workers, both mandated to get the shot. Thank goodness our religious exemption was approved and we held fast in not getting it! Losing both of our jobs would have royally sucked!

Yes. Same here in Germany. There will be no mandate, never, but the discussion about it is in the "news" every other day. Everybody rushed to get the clotshot, because, hey, it will be mandated anyhow. It isn't, and it will never be. These fuckers play a very well orchestrated mental game with the normies, it just works. Stupid people win stupid prices.

I have both perspectives. I was awake in my late teens, early twens. Read books about the Illuminati, Satanism, I knew some Satanists back then and was disturbed by their believe. Then I joined the military and, guess what? I got vaxxed against all the possible deseases that could face me when being sent wherever they wanted to send me. Well, the only place I went was Bosnia, there were no deseases to be vaxxed against, but hey, just in case we put a shitload of substances into your body...
I fell asleep. 'Till 2 1/2 ys ago. And now everything comes back, but I lost 25-30ys of being awake. Maybe it was the vax, maybe it was my fault, but here I am again. At this point in time.

Yup! My inlaws fell for it with air travel in the states. My mother inlaw just knew something was going to happen to her Dad and she wasn’t going to be able to fly from one state to another w/o the shot b/c it was going to be mandated. So, she and my father inlaw got the shot (I’ve never seen my MIL so sick) and here we are a year later, no shot required to fly within the US, and her father has been just fine. 🙄 I can’t even with peoples logic! My husband and I are the only pure bloods left on his side of the family. 🤦🏼♀️

Its been tough but someone has to do it. The hard part will be going back to work and being motivated to do a good job. And now everybody knows my personal medical and religious affiliations and I can guarantee I will be judged and lose opportunities because of this.
I lost motivation when they threatened I would lose my job - a hard-working person who has gone above and beyond over the years - NO MORE! Just doing my time until I can get the heck out!

It's not irrelevant if it means you get to continue enjoying the same quality of life. Us paycheck to paycheck people are the ones getting fucked because we wouldn't live like this if there were other opportunities available like you were able to find. The smart and driven are feeling the squeeze. The stupid and lazy are being crushed. Thankfully the next generation we're raising in our house is making better choices and that's all I'm really concerned about.
I have lost most of my motivation at work too. I didn't face the choice that you did, but our management showed their true colors by sticking with mask mandates longer than was required and other actions they took along the way. It's sad. Our owner is based. He's a millionaire who lives in a millionaire neighborhood and he still had Trump flags mounted to his house last time I was there. The problem is that he's slowly dying of brain cancer and isn't involved in the business too much now. His son's and the rest of the management are not like him.
If I, you or anyone else threaten people with an unloaded (or fake) firearm, we can be shot dead all the same by law enforcement or any other responder just as if it was a live and loaded weapon.
There will be a future time when assertions like the above will be tested in court as a defense... like the assertion that all the threats made against people and their livelihoods was legit and lawful as coerced consent with violence/threats is still consent. Just like how a rapist holding the knife to a neck of a victim means it isnt really rape... ?

Best of luck with that process, there must be legal sites out there with the right ideas to get the ball rolling (will be perhaps the most litigated issue in history) but I off the cuff dont know of any.

I think it's panic on their part because not only did they lose good employees if/when they fired the unvaxxed, but they're losing employees because the vaxxed ones are dropping like flies.
I check the job listings in my town frequently. The local hospitals that fired the unvaxxed employees are listing almost daily looking for employees. Either they can't find anyone to fill the positions or they can't keep anyone in the positions. Take that as you will.
I apply to every job posting I see that requires a VAX, that I am halfway qualified for. Just so I can say that I am unvaxed, just so they might think about the qualified folks they are loosing.
Exactly - sounds like my hometown! And they are even offering big bonuses for those who get hired - one caveat though - you have to be vaccinated or get an exemption. I doubt many get the exemption!
You know how these corporations have been complaining about how hard it has been to find and keep employees over the past couple of years? I have a lot of theories about why, one of the biggest being why would anyone bother applying for a job if there is a possibility that having the vaccine is part of it?
I've been saying the same about masks, too. I can't imagine working somewhere like a greasy fast food joint and having even more issues breathing because you have to inhale that greasy air through a face diaper your entire shift.

We just had an email last week for openings within our department. The jobs they are trying to find people to fill, suck. They should have never blended two jobs into one as it's too difficult to get people to stay in those positions when they can go elsewhere and only do one for the same pay. Today we received an email that our organization will no longer require rona tests for preoperative purposes. I look for the mask mandate to go away within the next 30 days though it'll be difficult for them to let go of that control.
My VP told all of us that we were expected to be the leader in taking these experimental shots. And then they paid me short term disability for nearly 6 months for a medical exemption to their mask mandate 🖕🏻🖕🏻

My company requested vax status and the deadline was just prior to the SC decision.. I waited until the last possible moment to give it to them. Then the following Monday SC says no to vax pass & my company sent out an email-vax status not required. I went back in & unregistered & revoked my ‘consent’ that I was forced to do that previous Friday just to keep my job. Bastards. But I held out & all turned out well thankfully!
In short, yes. All employers that went all in on this wanted to play the biggest game of medical chicken ever, and it is one they now have to pay for. They are going to feel the effects for years.
I’m not in healthcare but work for local government. We were told to get vaccinated by the end of October and that we could file for exemptions but would have to test weekly. They sent out some long policy talking about how we’d get a week suspension for not complying and then be terminated if we didn’t comply after the suspension. I sent a religious exemption request in October but obviously never got jabbed and haven’t tested either. They haven’t done anything other than send me emails with follow up questions for my exemption which I’ve ignored. I think it’s been like 3 emails. It’s basically a drawn out game of chicken where they can’t really win. They either have to back off or deny my exemption and fire me. Those are their options.
The nurse at the pediatric office we go to said she was let go for a few months for refusing the clotshot and was recently rehired without having to take it. Ha!
I feel for the young kids joining the military or the guard. They have to get the vax. I pray that this is stopped asap, the young kids, vaxxed and then going thru boot camp, has to take its toll.
Yeah my friend's kid went into the Navy and had to get the shot. But his problem was that he still had his wisdom teeth. They consider that "a liability". So the Dr Mengele at the bootcamp pulled all four of his wisdom teeth out and he bled so much he was sent to the health building and missed all of bootcamp. He's now trying to get back in.
