Release all the water directly into the ocean because maybe some fish might like it.
This is what happens when you let criminal psychopaths get control over the elections, and then saturate the government. They can do whatever the fuck they want, any time they want. It doesn't matter if all the citizens hate it. They just don't care.
The California Reservoir system was specifically designed to bring drinking water to larger populations and create the most dynamic agricultural system in the world. This is the reason that California was able to grow and become the sixth largest economy in the world. It is the very Foundation of California, itself.
This is the policy California media carefully avoids discussing. I read it some time ago that they agreed to double outflow from the reservoirs to “protect some endangered fishies” or some shit. What did the fishies do in prior summers before the dams?
They manufacture water shortages to drive drought crisis so they can get people to approve higher taxes and fees. Then they turn down attempts to build desalinization plants those higher taxes were supposed to find. Rinse and repeat. Water shortages, taxes, decline solutions.
And all we have to do is use the reservoirs as designed and stop the flood of illegal immigrants.
A problem of democrat’s making with an easy solution they intentionally withhold.
The release of water was never about fisheries. The release of water into the ocean is about getting rid of the nasty smell coming from the saltmarshes in the Sacramento Bay area. There is a lot of 10,000,000 dollars + homes built on salt marshes in the bay area if the salt marsh and the bay does not receive fresh water regularly these mansions end up getting a stench that is caused by a combination of San Francisco wastewater and the salt marsh. the owners of these mansions are the political elite running this state.
The bay is disgusting and yea, those salt marshes stink pretty bad, but so does the waste transfer station down in the south end. The people that live there are not the political elite though. They’re the multi-millionaire Silicon Valley middle class.
The real elite live in Atherton, Napa, Tiberon and other areas far from those salt marshes.
And create a "crisis" which they want you to believe they can solve by imposing "carbon credits". They create a problem, then try to sell you on the idea that they can solve it by just giving them more power over you. Brilliant, by the way, as stupid people will gleefully starve to "save the planet".
Trillions of gallons of fresh water flow into the ocean. Newsom won't allow new reserviors to be built to help a small fish that is NOT endangered. California drought is deliberate to contribute to depopulation.
Doesn't help that Newsom is a pyromaniac and sets California wildfires.
I watched an excellent documentary about five or six years ago, wish I could remember the name, about how the multi-millionaire from The Franklin Mint bought up huge tracts of land in Kern County (I think) for almond orchards, then colluded with the State Water Board for them to sign over the water rights. So, California builds the infrastructure to recharge the aquifer below the orchards, then the land owners get to sell the water back to the State at ridiculous prices.
It caused a land-speculation rush in that county, from people who basically have no interest in agriculture just so they can participate in this water scam. All they have to do is plant a few trees or grape vines.
Someone on a local Facebook group showed the output of local dams (Folsom lake, oroville, and others) and showed the outputs were way above normal. This was either last year or the year before, can’t remember.
That statement has always stuck out in my mind...you will watch your children die while you die of thirst. Or something like that. What a heartless, soulless, evil bitch.
Lots of people in California. The number used to be 40 million. Not sure what it is now, but honestly, I don't have much in the way of sympathy for the people of California. If they elect politicians and allow perpetual voter fraud to keep these politicians in office, they need to reap the rewards so that the suffering is so severe that they never allow this to happen again. When the Californians stand up and hang the politicians and corporate backers and all their minions and castigate all the brainwashed sheep, they will have my support. This is as a former resident of the Bay Area back in the late 80's and early 90's. I say this even with friends and family that still live there. I try to redpill them, but the programming runs deep. They need to feel the pain.
I'm a second gen native- We are the "south" and that's why they flooded us with illegal voters and homeless to "harvest" votes needed to stay in power.
Yep, what I learned volunteering for the state of Jefferson movement a few years ago was that the top dozen counties have something like 6 representatives in Sacramento. Los Angeles county alone has over 30.
You know I can't help but think there isn't some sort of biblical lesson here - throughout recorded human history how many people have tried to achieve paradise in this life and has it actually ended well for any of them? California tried to achieve paradise in this life and now damnation the likes of which can hardly be imagined will rain down upon them. Maybe thousands of years from now holy books will talk about California's folly how the state and its people were reduced to columns of salt.
Following human morality over the laws of God always end in tragedy. The lessons of history are lost in man's hubris. We are not even fit to lead our own footprints.
A handful of families control Cali, wondering how are you going to get rid of them to make Cali safe and sane again.
I was thinking the other day what if Trump's EO of seizing assets of people or organizations who colluded with foreign entities to steal elections can solve everything. Here's hoping.

I always ask "save the planet for who?" If we are killing ourselves to save the planet, who will get it once we are all dead.
The elites will enjoy it. You can be sure they won't have their living standards or power compromised like the proles.

California USA red state with a few large dem cities that control everything
I'm a second gen native- We are the "south" and that's why they flooded us with illegal voters and homeless to "harvest" votes needed to stay in power.
Yep, but the large cities have a huge population advantage. They don't even bother cheating in the central valley or the north
