I may sound insolent, but if school shootings are a price we have to pay so we don't have tyranny forever, so be it.
Regardless, we have 17 million veterans in the country. Many of them suffer from depression and have no jobs. If we put these people to work to protect schools, not only would they be able, trained and proper, they'd absolutely be willing to lay down their lives to protect children.
And therapeutic....to give back life, what many may perceive that they've taken.

Armed guards in schools will sharply reduce incidents like these. If it's good enough for the banks, it's good enough for my kids.
My high school had 2 school cops and it was normal, they got to know the students, they walked around. Do they not do this anymore? Was a couple decades ago.
We had a police substation in my HS in the 80s.
We had the principal and he had a large flat piece if wood shaped like a paddle. We also have gun clubs. We never had shooters. Those were the good ol days.
And archery, shop, and printing. If you got spanked by a teacher, the first question out of my parents mouth was "what did you do wrong"? Not, "where is my lawyer's phone number".

The fact that the biparty system has evolved into nothing but a cleverly devised plan to pit half the country against the other half. The politician acting was framed for us to believe they were bitter enemies. They squabble on every issue, but when something important cones along to further their goals, it is paraded around as "bipartisan" to fool us into believing that it is irrefutable logic to accept. That is true. But until the Supreme Court makes that ruling, that unconstituionality has no force of law.

The senators should not even advance any bills that over ride the Constitution period. They declined money for school security, they need to all be dismissed from Congress s because they are not carrying out the will of the people.

First they introduce waiting periods. (unconstitutional as there are no waiting periods in the exercise of the right to bear and keep arms)
Then they extend the waiting period.
First they focus on 21 year olds. (unconstitutional as the amendment does not specify age limitations on bearing and keeping arms)
Then they introduce extensions of the age and old age restrictions.
Then red flag laws allow for just the loony bins at first. But then, due to social media and the ministry of truth, all who are not in conformity with the Biden regime will find themselves in the prohibition zone.

These senators approving such legislation, should be sued under title 18 USC 241/242, as it clearly is a conspiracy to deprive rights under the color of law.
