The energy grid can't handle 3 or 4 days of 100 degrees and peeps running theor AC. Let make them all go electric car and plug that into you homes too. Clown world. 🤡
Haha epic, now wait until it's winter (obviously not in CA) and you are stuck in traffic, or they decide "no more electric sorry"!
Yup. That might wake a few up.
That would be no problem for a tesla as it uses very little energy sitting there in traffic even with the heater/ac on. Tesla is working on more superchargers in dense areas such as the picture.
Ok if you say so. Not sure I'd want to be stuck in a traffic jam in the snow all night in one.
I only trust Tesla EVs. Any other one I wouldn't.
LOL! plus the time it takes for the charge.
30 - 60 mins. :)
Here's the punch line
HA!
Electric cars are just virtue signaling while simultaneously destroying the middle class. Poor people don't really work, middle class can't afford electric, but they make enough to pay for all the subsidies and tax breaks the rich people get for buying electric.
People don't even realize car companies run their vehicles at about a 10% efficiency. As in cars should be getting hundreds of miles to the gallon, not 20-35 depending what you drive.
Look into eagle research. The guy is a genius. He was getting 200+mpg in an old Chevy with a v8 and zero loss of power.
I like to call them battery powered cars to put it in perspective,
Battery powered cars are not the final answer,
The Amish have grass powered cars.
Efficient yes, but their vehicles only generally get one or two horsepower.
This right here is why I come to the site.
Yeah they basically are just giant rc cars. Let's not forget all the slave labor involved in lithium mining.
So horse and buggy are just grass powered cars? Lmao I can get behind that.
I personally believe in hydrogen. The whole hindenburg zeppelin false flag was 100% to demonize hydrogen.
IMO hydrogen is a terrible fuel for a car.
It has a low energy density and you have to compress it.
Diesel is the fuel to beat.
Switch grass is one of the better "renewables" so far.
My grandfather always kept a log in his glove box. Every gas up, check oil, check tires, check coolant, log miles, log fuel pumped, do the manual math to get gas mileage. Once us grandkids were in school and learned math, we were expected to "fill the logbook" as he would say. I spent all my summers upstate with them and filled it out alot!!! His 1967 Impala with a 396 got an average of 28 miles per gallon (regular leaded fuel btw) best I ever saw was 34 miles per gallon to a tank.
Man I used to LOVE filling out the log. I would probably cry like a baby if I ever came across one of them today.
What is the price to charge?
Your dignity
🤣
bonus points if the people taking the video are in a diesel or something
Need one of those totally obnoxious diesel guys to "blow coal" across that entire line.
Elon is a genius in making money by playing with the left.
It’s a great car. No maintenance other than changing tires (no break wear with regen). Super fast and always a full tank when you charge at home. I’ve got open bays all around me but never need them. But I love the smell of diesel and seeing smug comifornia greenies waiting in line. I love my coal powered car and freedom bitches.
No maintenance? Do you mean because the maintenance has to be completed by a certified mechanic? ALL vehicles require maintenance.
Tires and washer fluid. So yes some maintenance. And if you crash it or bump it get ready to pay out the ass. And the regular mechanic lifts don’t support it so if something weird happens you are going to Tesla. But assuming you don’t crash it and you don’t get a lemon you aren’t taking it in for transfer case repairs, oil changes, or a new transmission, or breaks.
Funny story: know a guy who bought a Ford Lighting truck and was pulling his camper to the coast—about a 2 hour drive. The highway has lots of hills, and very few small towns. Before headed over, he spent 2 hours at a charging station, but only made it about 2/3 of the way. Had to call his dad to pick up his camper and bring a generator so he could recharge. I think the fully electric is just ridiculous. Hybrid seems to be a better choice, IMO.
He should've waited for the Cybertruk
This is why I'm not impressed with Elon Musk...
Satan is laughing.
And it is not a five-minute charge. It takes a long time.
So dumb ... I used to like the car then I got to know the drivers of the car yea ... They are arrogant jerks for the most part.
The Simpsons; Smug alert https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AnFAAdOBB1c
Ha lol thank you Smug alert 😂😂😂
Reminds me of the old joke, What's the difference between a porcupine and a porsche? With a porsche the pricks are on the inside.
What!!!

Why so many people not charge at home?
I don't have the first clue about charging a Tesla, but aren't there 3 open charging stations at about :14? Or does the fact that they are just white mean they are out of service stations? I think this is great. Charge your car, then get back to the end of the line. By the time you get to the front again, you will be needing the charge again! HA!
Ev's are a great supplement, but not a replacement. Never were.
No thanks. I would enjoy the performance of a car like that, but there's no way I want the maintanence.
almost no maintenance
Pay some joggers to fill up those spots and bucket wash their cars really slowly. Take lots of 'cigar' breaks and play some of the most gangster shit music they can come up with...each one playing a different track at the same time.
