My problem is that cop n!ggers over here (NZ) do not know the difference between a springer and a shotgun.
My son was raided by an armed offender squad carrying five AR15s, because he was plinking in the back-yard with what was basically a BB. They took all his very valuable collection of Springers, stuffed bits of paper in their action (to prevent them misfiring - duh, you need a pellet in there before it is loaded) bent the lever on a Diana (German engineering, very beautiful stock and a collector's item), and took all the guns out of their cases to throw them in the back of a car so that his precious collection was covered in scratches.
He got all his guns back the next day, after an 'expert' was called in to determine that what my son was doing was legal.
Oh, and it so happened that another son has a fire-arms charge from ten years ago, for plinking in an open field with a BB, because someone saw him. GRRRR.
Sounds like he is from NZ and not the USA. We cannot expect someone else to conform to our culture and abide by our social norms.
I do not like the word either but I live in the country where it has a heavy history.
This guy isn't obligated to abide by our culture or social norms. I am sure there are things that we do/say that is extremely offensive to people all over the world but do we give two shits. NOPE.
From our perspective none, but I use the term Gyspy often, in fact, I even describe relatives as czechoslovakian gypsies.
In some countries the term gypsy is as offensive as the Nword. I bet they too would wonder what value the term offers to the conversation?
For me, it communicates that my family were roamers living in czechoslovakia and they moved to the USA.
In some contexts i use it when I am trying to communicate a free spirit.
So having said all that, is it possible that the N word doesn't have a significant history in NZ and therefore doesn't elicit the same emotions as it does for us? Could it have a completely different meaning like the word gypsy?
I am not talking about white or black culture. I am talking about our culture as US Citizens compared to the Culture of a completely different country whether the other country is white, black, green, yellow whatever.
You are too worked up to conversate about this. Also, you have a very narrow mind to this specific word. You cannot see the word as having any value. Understand this, I am as far from racist as they come. I just understand that our history with the word and the social connotation behind the world is not the same for everyone.
I get it, you want to police the world and say that what we find here in the USA as offensive, you all need to find offensive.
It doesn't work like that and we don't offer that to other countries that find words in our language to be offensive.
From the perspective of a US citizen you 100% are and I would agree with you 1000x over BUT in other countries, the word does not have the same connotation as it does here.
Ok.. what cultural norm are you talking about?
I am under the assumption. The 10 commandments are common sense social rules that the mass majority of the world would see as common sense and agree.
Ghost Firearms no longer exists. Company changed names to Grid Defense in 2018. Suppose it’s possible no one updated UPS account information. But still odd.
Having looked at the company website though. Still lists URL as GhostRifles though. They also have a shipping update that says orders are being processed on time and shipping with no interruptions. Which is new development from when the story initially broke.
836 Bill France Blvd the address featured on the letter when put into Google maps while using Satellite overlay is linked to an empty undeveloped lot.
Grid Defense is registered at 828 S. Nova Rd. Not 836 Bill France.
Lists both the company headquarters and mailing address as 828 S. Nova Rd. With the company having been incorporated in 2019. With a Nader B. Meqdad serving as company president.
Most articles regarding this. Last I looked at any rate listed a Joe Zatar as the company owner. I in my efforts couldn’t locate a Joe Zatar associated with Grid Defense.
Having now looked at Brownell main website now repeatedly. They don’t have any notice up warning customers of interruptions or at least one I could find. None of their other Social Media at least what I could access was updated with a notice. I don’t have an account for Facebook or associated subsidiary websites such as Instagram. But it seems a tad odd as I’d think a major distributor refusing to ship packages and was actively seizing and destroying packages enroute would be something that’d be noted on all company social media pages. As well as a warning on their main website.
Props to the chick in the video for at least bringing up the Facebook post. Other videos I’ve seen on the story were more focused on ranting about UPS. Personally a bit convenient the Facebook post was deleted and no other announcement was made by either affected company to the best of my knowledge.
Not saying it’s not happening or real and legitimate. But there’s certainly a lot of weirdness surrounding it from what I’ve dug up. If anything I would have expected MSM to be trumpeting a victory of a major shipper refusing firearms.
UPS does not have the right to destroy everything. If they dont like what someone is shipping then they need to send it back. I hope these idiots are being sued to oblivion.
The post office ships guns from gun dealers to gun dealers. Private citizens cannot send guns via USPS. So, if you want to get away from UPS go and visit the post office.
Does anyone have an actual source for this? I am guessing that midwayusa.com would fall right into this category. That being said, on July 4th just passed, in a fit of patriotic fervor, I ordered a double handful of AR parts from them. They were shipped on the 5th via UPS and USPS, arriving at my door this afternoon.
Until further corroboration, I’m calling bullshit on this.
Yea, yea, yea. They're already doing it with contraceptives... unless they house Fentanyl inside. I think the next items are crayons and hearing aid batteries. (satire)
The age-old travel theory: Go to the gunstore and buy your new gold-plated trigger there, just like your dad did. Get off your ass.
Also, UPS are greedy, virtue signalling n!ggers violating property rights
Now who do you think delivers the gun parts to the stores? Also I had to use UPS for warranty service when I had to ship one back to the manufacturer.
Yep, it is a problem allright.
My problem is that cop n!ggers over here (NZ) do not know the difference between a springer and a shotgun.
My son was raided by an armed offender squad carrying five AR15s, because he was plinking in the back-yard with what was basically a BB. So how does it feel to yell some N bombs? Do you feel empowered yet? It makes you feel powerful don’t it?
Sounds like he is from NZ and not the USA. We cannot expect someone else to conform to our culture and abide by our social norms. I do not like the word either but I live in the country where it has a heavy history.
This guy isn't obligated to abide by our culture or social norms. I am sure there are things that we do/say that is extremely offensive to people all over the world but do we give two shits. NOPE.
What social norms outside of common sense are you referring to?
The 10 commandments are my social norms because they are common sense to all people.
How offensive do you find the word Gypsy to be?
How about “pikey”, “didicoy”, “ned” or “charver”?
I never said offensive. I am asking the VALUE of the language.
What value does the word have?
From our perspective none, but I use the term Gyspy often, in fact, I even describe relatives as czechoslovakian gypsies.
In some countries the term gypsy is as offensive as the Nword. I bet they too would wonder what value the term offers to the conversation?

So having said all that, is it possible that the N word doesn't have a significant history in NZ and therefore doesn't elicit the same emotions as it does for us? Could it have a completely different meaning like the word gypsy?
I asked a simple question for a simple reason.
Drooling the N bomb is helpful in what way? That’s all I am asking here.
And what you said.
Is why the LEFT CALLS YOU S WHITE SUPREMACIST!
Because you are arrogant in what you think your culture is.
What you are doing is taking common sense social rules and saying that these are white norms/
So if someone else who is not white follows those same values.
You will say
When in reality! That person is following common sense.
I am not talking about white or black culture. I am talking about our culture as US Citizens compared to the Culture of a completely different country whether the other country is white, black, green, yellow whatever.
I see where you are coming from.
Dude come on.
I am being logical here.
From the perspective of a US citizen you 100% are and I would agree with you 1000x over BUT in other countries, the word does not have the same connotation as it does here.
Ok. That’s a very good response. It’s a word that I find interesting.
When it is being used to describe behavior. I am seriously asking.
Are you saying that word because you believe doing so will actually change the behavior of the target.
I’ll wait for you to tell me.
You said our culture.
Ok.. what cultural norm are you talking about? I am under the assumption. The 10 commandments are common sense social rules that the mass majority of the world would see as common sense and agree.
Most of the world? Really? Care to source that?
Place tell Mae what is so unique about your culture that is outside of common sense?
Again, I am a US citizen and wouldn't use the term. It is unacceptable because in our culture there is a significant history behind the word.
I just do not agree with you policing the comments telling people what is or isn't acceptable because that is what you believe to be true.
That’s not what I said. I am asking the purpose of the word.
Language should communicate value right? I challenged the post to explain to me the value of the word.
I am very interested to know since I am black.
I don’t understand the value because I am the target of the term.
I am not angry:
I am asking what is the positive purpose here?
yep. It is not a statement of race (I would not know about how UPS human resources organise their workforce), but a statement of behaviour.
How do you benefit from the statement? Any new super powers?
This isn't your HOA, Karen.
How am I not asking a legit question? How does name calls help?
What do you get out of it? Is dropping N bombs going to make the behavior change for the better?
I took it for what it was and didn't get all fucking triggered. You're acting like a university freshman from California FFS.
I am asking a honest logical question.
Is the name call helpful? Is dropping a bunch of N bombs going to change bad behavior?
Ahh.. more name calling!
That’s all you got?
Why would they seize and destroy peoples property and think they can get away with it?
Letter featured in the video is a bit odd.

I need to get into the firearm courier business.
So, you wanna be a gun runner?
UPS does not have the right to destroy everything. If they dont like what someone is shipping then they need to send it back. I hope these idiots are being sued to oblivion.
Sounds like a lawsuit waiting to happen.
Time to cancel UPS…
Oh, how i yearn for the freedom of the days of Voat 🐐
