The original Final Fantasy Tactics, if anyone's wondering. Great game, but SUPER-dark story.

And the translation, aside from this line, was rushed to hell even more than FF7's was. I'm surprised no one's made a re-translation patch yet.

FF Tactics was one of my favorite games for a long time!

Combat system is amazing.

I love putting the AI to auto and watching them fight. But damn sometimes they dumb AI.

One of the best tactical rpgs of all time. Hands down.

I was shocked to see Oldpatriot post a reference to Final Fantasy, but I'm glad he did!

The version for PSP updated the translation. It’s not so broken/ridiculous now. As an aside I also love how after the credits you see how Ovelia’s paranoia eventually got the better of her anyway. One of my top ten games.

It also runs ridiculously slowly there.

So slowly, in fact, the PS1 version ran faster IN AN EMULATOR.

Really? Never played the PSP version, just knew that the translation was fixed. Well damn, that’s a shame…

ChronicMetamorphosis 2 points ago +2 / -0

No matter what version you run, it ain't gonna speed up the grind.

ThePowerOfPrayer 1 point ago +1 / -0

Cheat Engine will speed up the grind if all you're concerned about is the story.

2
ChronicMetamorphosis 2 points ago +2 / -0

Cheat Engine? I can't help but feel cringe when I think about this.

Edit: Nothing personal on you, of course. 😊

I don't have a lot of time to game these days.

Sure, I could kill the same group of monsters 300 times so I can buy the next weapon or spell from the shop, or I could kill the same group of monsters 10 times because I boosted exp gains and gil rates and move on to the next area.

Not ashamed to admit I use Cheat Engine to make my limited play time more enjoyable on single player games, especially RPGs from the NES/SNES era I never had a chance to check out when they were first released.

There's a mobile port of the psp version without the slowdown issues

1
sk39999999 1 point ago +1 / -0

you can get a fan made patch that fixes the slowdown for psp version

BetterNameUnfound 1 point ago +1 / -0

Wow, you're right, I completely forgot about that one.

I should check it out. Thanks for reminding me.

Works for JP morgan, they steal billions spoofing the price of silver, then pay a small fine.

Otherwise known as giving the govt their cut.

The money they collect in fines is probably off budget,so they can use the money to pay their pornhub acc.

Just pay it, its fine

When a fine becomes a bribe.

Fines are retroactive bribes.

It's interesting how most Q followers here don't worship the almighty dollar.

The people I'm around in the real world are mostly Trump fans, and only a few believe/follow Q.

My entire family are Republicans/Conservatives and are absolutely obsessed with making money. Only the Q people in my family aren't.

Just thought it was interesting.

🙂✌️

Dardar 3 points ago +3 / -0

Perhaps Q folks understand the tightrope walk between Justice and Corruption, which can be rooted in the love of money.

Or maybe they’re just more curious. Truth is stranger and far more exciting than fiction.

MegaMAGAMichiPede 2 points ago +2 / -0

That is an interesting observation. And it holds true in my family as well, except they’re all retarded egotistical leftists obsessed with status and wealth. Thankfully my husband and I are all about enjoying life, living within our means, and prioritizing TIME together over chasing the almighty dollar. We’re much happier for it.

I like making money but I’m not obsessed

Well we're in the middle of a world war. If we don't win the human race is over and money won't mean anything in a few years

I forget which ones, but some Euro countries base the fines on percentage of income or net worth. Holland may be one.

3
BetterNameUnfound 3 points ago +3 / -0

I always thought that was a Commie way of doing it, but you know, maybe they had a point...

3
PepeSee 3 points ago +3 / -0

True, I saw a rich guy in Europe got a ridiculous speeding ticket and the fine was like $20k or something (I'm just making up rough numbers, it's been awhile, but it was something like that and that's why it worked that way).

09re 5 points ago +5 / -0

Like getting suspended for skipping school, thanks

5
MathletesFoot 5 points ago +5 / -0

Well, some European nations set fines according to wealth, but your average Republican voter will shit their pants if you suggest such an idea.

I’m a bit conflicted, many laws don’t deserve jail time, ie speeding, so what would be the punishment? Community service is the best that comes to mind.

2
ITOLDYOUSO 2 points ago +2 / -0

Time is also more valuable to the lower class.

2
ravonaf 2 points ago +2 / -0

Rich dude steals $100 million and gets fined $20 million. Seems legit to me. /s

Gasgaswhatwhat 2 points ago +2 / -0

I totally agree. What is the average person on here? I would call myself working class I have worked all my life and don't have a lot of money. Is that similar for most of you or are people more wealthy on here?

1
Dogebastian 1 point ago +1 / -0

1 Doge = 1 Doge. Pretty sure I must be rich.

Legal for a price

A parking ticket doesn't mean you cant park there. The ticket is what it costs to park there.

1
Datadude 1 point ago +2 / -1

No, the government just wants their cut.

1
Dardar 1 point ago +1 / -0

One could argue that mandates only affect the lower class as well, folks who truly can’t afford to lose their jobs.

Here in SoCal all of the hardworking smart (unjabbed) waitstaff are still forced to wear masks 😷 because they refuse to take an unsafe ineffective injection. It’s discriminatory against folks with brown skin, mostly. Where are the woketards now?

1
KeepForgetting_PW 1 point ago +1 / -0

True. Time is a better fee, as everyone has the same allotment of hours in a day.

Minor crimes (that should actually be punished, like littering), should only be able to be repaid in community service.

A fine is a tax for doing wrong. A tax is a fine for doing well.
