I was so angered by her calling my baby a ‘fetus’. I couldn’t believe she would insinuate he was medical waste…. But I also felt like a funeral seemed extreme. I didn’t know what to do….

I and my wife held our still born son, term. He was cremated and years later ashes put on hid grandmothers grave. Years later to took a clover leaf and it is in a very small picture frame. He is in the leaf.

I have known women who had miscarriages. Their reaction to them tells me that getting a deliberate abortion must do things to them psychologically that cannot be good.
As someone who had one over 20 yrs ago, when I was a very lost sheep, YES, elective abortions mess you up, physically and emotionally. Those advocating for abortions on demand, even those still having them, are just refusing to admit the truth. It is something I regret so deeply, nothing I will EVER do will ever be good enough to save me from that sin.

Trust me, I have done that repeatedly. I still understand though if He doesn't think it is enough. I also do not know if my unborn child will forgive me or understand that I was a very lost, unloved, and unloving person back then either. I have come to terms that I will accept whatever will be presented to me upon my end of life.
You are right- nothing you can do is enough to earn forgiveness! Because- Salvation is by grace- meaning it is fully undeserved. Stop trying to earn. You cannot. BUT GOD says that what Jesus did for you is already enough if you would just repent of your sins and turn to Him and believe that He did that for you. A child can do it.

I guess its hard to believe sometimes that it is just as easy, as asking and truly repenting.. it seems like it shouldnt be that easy :/ If it is for me, should it be the same for those who have committed horrendous acts against children, sexual crimes? I dont know.. I feel like maybe there is some kind of hierarchy chart we were never told about.

My lil sister once got an abortion. It fucked her up because she does have a heart. She carried the sonogram around with her for months and talked to it. She now has a beautiful baby daughter.

This isn't an anti-abortion argument though. For the so called "moderates" (or what the vast majority of liberals used to believe concerning limits of abortion), the first trimester at least is not taking a life distinct from the mother, per se, because of a lack of brain function. Not sure I agree with that, but that seems to be the criteria.
BS, it is taking a separate life from the mother even on Day 1.
For the science argument I love to bring up the idea that if we found a zygote on Mars or especially a 2 week old fetus, every news outlet on Earth would immediately publish a “Life Found on Mars!” article.
