It doesn’t matter, it was DOJ, they already had copies of everything before they raided Trump’s home. They raided so Trump would no longer have them. Also, it doesn’t matter that they read them if the court appoints a special master because it will not be the DOJ deciding on them it will be the special master. I’m sure any real vital papers Trump had, one’s with attorney/client privilege, or other crucial things in it Trump wanted to keep private was not part of the boxes they seized during the raid. Trump most likely has a nice secure and secret place for these records and wouldn’t store them in a place where he knew they’d be sniffing around.

I thought the Special Master was to review the documents before the FBI went through everything. To verify that they didn't take anything they weren't supposed to take. This was why they rushed it so fast. Since the document review is over will a Special Master still be appointed?
Evidence taken and filtering of that info is just one of the responsibilities of a Special Master. Trump has a whole list of issues, besides what was taken, with the warrant that they can look into. Getting people under oath with regard to how the warrant was processed and how executive privilege was denied will put a lot of pressure on the fbi and doj.

Think about what happens if a special master goes through the documents and declares there are no classified documents at all.
Since this is a sting. Trump had nothing in the documents that would harm him.
