People there are pissed about it. LMAO I say you need to deal with what we people are dealing with and wake up and realize your Democrats are the problem. And yeah it is political but it also TRUTH and REALITY
People are pissed at people like DeSantis for sending illegals even deeper into the country, but the reactions from the people like Bowser, Hochul, Pritzker, Lightfoot etc are a thousand-fold worth what relatively little has been done so far. Gotta take the big-picture view here.. what happens when the 'sanctuary city' bluff is finally called and revealed to be a load of manipulative lies?
What gets me is the clothing. All new shoes, clothes, and bags. Iβm in the NE and a few times I was at Marshalls. We have a variety of people who live here but there was one time that there were four Spanish ladies checking out. They each had about $1000 worth of clothes, which is hard to do at marshalls and not typical for the culture. Iβve also noticed at Costco a few times, people with multiple carts (thousands of dollars worth) loading food into crappy cars. It caught my attention the first time bc they had the passenger seat almost packed to the top with more items in the cart and nowhere for the passenger to sit. I only mention it bc itβs abnormal and Iβve seen it at least a dozen times
'They look at us as rich, liberal enclaves,' said the Democrat, whose district includes all of Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket, in remarks to the Boston Globe.
Kek! That's because they are rich, liberal enclaves. Funny how that works.
I've lived in a border state for over 50 years. I've watched nice blue collar working class neighborhoods go to shit because of illegals. When President Trump got in office, those same neighborhoods started coming back to life. Now? Between the fentanyl being flooded in and tents popping up on sidewalks, crime, etc., it is a train wreck.
It makes my day to see these govenors do this. The assholes that benefit from open borders (cause they are getting theirs) now have to deal with their "policy." I say fuck 'em. Let them get blasted from their neighbors. Put the blame where it belongs. To the ones that opened it up...again.
Maybe forwarding MS13 to the buyers? This may not be it, though I can't help but wonder if this is the case with some of these governors.
I want to know what happens to these guys after they are dropped off. Geo tracking would be great to see if a large portion go to a specific "safe house" for orders.
People yelling about this β they've been doing the same thing in "nice areas" for decades.
Why do you think some areas don't have any homeless? Because they ship them to where it's "more desirable" for them to be.
I guess it sucks to be treated to their own medicine. They never want to fight the problem, just want to make it someone else's. Now they get the boomerang and see it's now their problem. I hope it's a lot more than busloads, too. You can remove a busload quickly. Can't as easily remove thousands within a couple weeks.
The dems should be thrilled that illegals are being given a presidential place to settle down in - much nicer than the cities they are shipping people to. Also lets them see first hand that it isnt families or old folks coming to their neighborhoods, they are all young men.
I hope the liberal enclave enjoys and fully appreciates the results of their labors, I.e. voting for illegal immigration policies and the liberal hypocrits they put in office to support this.
Illegal immigrants when they are in red states: yay! The system is working as intended. No person can ever be illegal! It's no big deal to have these wonderful people in the country, and they make our culture richer by their simple presence.
Those same illegal immigrants when they are moved to a blue state: Nooo! You can't do that! You're using these people as political pawns! We can't just magically accommodate fifty people without any warning!
As much as I like this, I have friends in TX that can't stand Abbot & claim he is much like Cox here in Utah (RINO, though Cox is clearly acting as a Dem inserted as a Republican) on some very important issues.
It causes me to wonder if any of the transports are being used to funnel MS13 into Dem territory so they can be used as we have seen them used in the past?
Let's just point out the truth. They want to feed them and assuage their consciences a little bit and then get them moved the fuck out of there as fast as possible.
I live in a very poor rural county in SE NC which is a red county. The Hispanic population has doubled (or tripled) since Biden has been the resident. It is appalling that so many of them are showing up to this very poor county. We can hardly keep up at our local food pantry. We already have a ton of US residents here who need these services, too, and all of them competing for what our local churches an provide.
I love the idea but I wish it could have been any other elite enclave....
I live about 10 miles from Martha's Vineyard and my home is a beautiful place completely untouched by "migrants". I bet they're just going to wind up being offloaded here where us poors live.

Plus this is only 50! We need some fucking mass african migration. More diversity, no boarders for the libtards!!!
Between Desantos and Abbott sending to Harris house these are the two most Brillant moves so far
Read the comments in the thread from the libtards...I really think they live in a completely different reality....

Every time I visit Twitter I have a mini great awakening, realizing how stupid some people are.
Yeah, me too...sometimes the comments 'people' make render me speechless.... ππ€
Like this one.

Welp. The republicans just lost the DC and Martha Vineyardβs vote! THEY NEVER HAD IT BEFORE. These people are clueless
I suspect that was satire
Sounds like a Bee headline
Saw that. One clueless person there.

Meme cannons, fire at will.
I like it...
Well worth it. In fact it's a winning strategy right here in florida.

What's so confusing about it?
Our tax dollars at work!!!
Like Q said some people you can't tell you have to show them.

I mean, if i was an illegal, id be stoked to get a free ride to such a warm, welcoming community
If I was a legal, I'd be stoked to get a free ride to such a warm, welcoming community.
Just sayin'.
(Where's my free plane ticket?)
Dump a bunch of BLM homeboys there as well. Thatβll calm their ass kissing, kneeling bullshit.

Awful lot of males among those immigrants. Wonder why?
Always predominantly male...π€

almost all those illegals have cellphones.... where are the cellphone companies sending the monthly bills?

They need to send busloads into all those liberal gated communities. Like several a week.
They can afford to share the wealth.

Thatβs hilarious. Wow
Keep it up.
Cope and/or seethe.

Regardless, the hypocrisy is entertaining.
They voted for it. Florida didn't. So fuck em.

If they are big upset, they can go talk to Joe about it.
Martha's Vineyard Resident's and VP Harris today - https://pbs.twimg.com/media/FcsVacZWAAU3YL6?format=jpg&name=large
They may be all happy now, but wait until the crime goes up and it's those "migrants" doing it.
Typical response from the βlimousine liberalsβ; not in my backyard! Lol

Send them to the Hamptons, too.

Which direction from Marthas Vineyard? We can make a special delivery
