People are pissed at people like DeSantis for sending illegals even deeper into the country, but the reactions from the people like Bowser, Hochul, Pritzker, Lightfoot etc are a thousand-fold worth what relatively little has been done so far. Gotta take the big-picture view here.. what happens when the 'sanctuary city' bluff is finally called and revealed to be a load of manipulative lies?

What gets me is the clothing. All new shoes, clothes, and bags. I’m in the NE and a few times I was at Marshalls. We have a variety of people who live here but there was one time that there were four Spanish ladies checking out. They each had about $1000 worth of clothes, which is hard to do at marshalls and not typical for the culture. I’ve also noticed at Costco a few times, people with multiple carts (thousands of dollars worth) loading food into crappy cars. It caught my attention the first time bc they had the passenger seat almost packed to the top with more items in the cart and nowhere for the passenger to sit. I only mention it bc it’s abnormal and I’ve seen it at least a dozen times

I've lived in a border state for over 50 years. I've watched nice blue collar working class neighborhoods go to shit because of illegals. When President Trump got in office, those same neighborhoods started coming back to life. Now? Between the fentanyl being flooded in and tents popping up on sidewalks, crime, etc., it is a train wreck.

The dems should be thrilled that illegals are being given a presidential place to settle down in - much nicer than the cities they are shipping people to. Also lets them see first hand that it isnt families or old folks coming to their neighborhoods, they are all young men.

As much as I like this, I have friends in TX that can't stand Abbot & claim he is much like Cox here in Utah (RINO, though Cox is clearly acting as a Dem inserted as a Republican) on some very important issues.

I live in a very poor rural county in SE NC which is a red county. The Hispanic population has doubled (or tripled) since Biden has been the resident. It is appalling that so many of them are showing up to this very poor county. We can hardly keep up at our local food pantry. We already have a ton of US residents here who need these services, too, and all of them competing for what our local churches an provide.

Send them to the Hamptons, too.

I live about 10 miles from Martha's Vineyard and my home is a beautiful place completely untouched by "migrants". I bet they're just going to wind up being offloaded here where us poors live.
