The first round of debates are done and by all indications the Republican candidates wiped the floor with their opponents, Elon just took over Twatter, Schumer was caught on a hot mic, Cheney endorsed a Democrat, and President Trump enjoyed his latest round of golf and trolled Josephine in the process. Damn, I was wondering why the whiskey tasted so good tonight.

CASH discount at restaurants now...just within the last week, one of my fave places, not "high end" but not cheap either, presented my check with a normal menu price, then an additional line "cash" with a 4% discount...asking about this, i was informed that since they had to raise prices, wanted to give customers an option of discount to offset the price increase...hmmm ok, but i'm wondering if there's more to this story, maybe suppliers wanting payment in cash, or simply cash-flow for restaurant...this is a local restaurant with maybe a dozen locations around dfw metroplex...another single location local restaurant is doing same cash discount thing...sign of the times?

Maybe there’s more to it. Credit card companies charge the store a fee for each transaction. I don’t know if this applies to debit cards. Maybe they are trying to not give their profits to the banking industry. I know a local man that runs a small hunting service. He provides the place to hunt, a house to sleep and food. The credit card companies were charging a large fee. So he figured out a way to get around it. He up charged some items. These people are wealthy people flying in from up north to the south. I doubt they would carry enough cash for their hunting fees.
This is true at every gas station in my area. It's about not paying credit card fees. Running a card for your purchase costs the business money, and most small businesses can't afford to eat any unnecessary costs right now.
Could be they are discounting the cash payment for the amount they would have gotten charged if you had used your card. Typically 3-5% depending on card company, if I remember correctly.

Went to a Hershel Walker rally in my home town today and there was so much excitement and energy. I almost didn't attend but did so anyway. So glad I got to see ordinary citizens fed up with the BS of the last 2 years. If today is any indication, we've got this. Will they try to cheat? Yes, but we know better now. I feel this in my soul.

The more votes our side casts, the harder it is for democrats to rig. And the harder we force them to work to rig elections, the more expensive it becomes for them, and it also increases the chances that they make errors, and get caught.

I wonder how many mules know someone that was investigated and/or prosecuted. Even if they were just questioned, I have a feeling these creepy people do not want to get caught. Maybe there aren't enough villains out there to rely on this time. I'm picturing someone saying "oh hell no, not me, not this time" "I'm not going to jail for you guys. LOL
They don't have a choice, they have to try to rig it. They must know that all they do is being watched and recorded in real time but doing nothing isn't an option with them, they have do something, against all the odds.

Earlier this year my employment (large company) was terminated due to the imposed, unlawful mandates. Since then I have survived week to week and now give the LORD thanks that I have 2 other means of employment (both sole operators) that fill in my working week. Both bosses are vaxxxed, forced or compliant, but respect my views.
Stand your ground, friend...there's always a way to make a buck! just doing "odd jobs" for the aging boomer population (some of us don't get on ladders any more, lol) like hanging ceiling fans, replacing batteries in smoke alarms, changing light bulbs, and a million other things...keep an open mind to the opportunities, cuz they are everywhere, when you just look around! realtor friend would take listings on the crappiest of houses, saying that he would "sell a pig's ass if he could make a buck", lol, and he was very successful...consider it a blessing that you got outta the corporate rat race, cuz in truth, the rats are winning...trust God to provide every opportunity!
