I think Desantis is legit but he's trying to forge his own path away from Trump and doesn't want to be known as a Trump protege ten years from now

The more I see DeSantis ignoring, vaguely disrespecting, or disagreeing with Trump -- and the longer he avoids highlighting the 2020 Steal -- the more I see him as an incredibly focused and effective sleeper for the Deep State. He's near-perfect in his handling of Florida and constantly spouting MAGA-sounding rhetoric. Patriots can't help but appreciate that.

But I can't shake the feeling it's all part of a long con to advance him into the federal power structure -- where he'll become the next Mitt Romney, although probably a more stealthy and camouflaged version.

I made it very clear that DeSantis is not ready "for prime time" and I and probably over 90 percent of the R's would vote for POTUS Trump.

Starting to see more and more articles on desantis and trump not being on the same team. Turns out RRN is on the same page too. I'm sure Trump's got a few trump cards up his sleeve yet to play. Nobody is thrilled about operation warpspeed and the populace deserves a real god's honest explanation as to what actually was supposed to happen and what did happen. Desantis is going to have that angle on trump all day. Trump better play that card right otherwise a giant portion of his base is done with him. Killshots designed as vaccines pushed by every institution at large that was supposed to come from the military and didn't. People don't just forget that. Especially when it's obvious post vaccination more and more people are dying all for the good intentions of not "spreading disease". That's not bringing back the dead, old or young who died from the clot shot. All I see is one giant blame game finger pointing for politics 2023-2024.

Never mind that events before the 2024 election will solidify Trump and the Patriots position in the 2024 election. DeSantis will only win if it's part of the plan.

The Left is using fake headlines as a red herring to split Republicans into two camps: DeSantis or Trump. Why was Charlie Crist questioning DeSantis about a presidential run in the debate? The Left/DS/Dems are trying to divide and conquer the Right with this. This is a final act of a dying party. DO NOT BE DISSUADED BY THE LEFT! DeSantis and Trump are on the same page.
