It’s near Raleigh-Durham area so right smack in liberal metro. Thank God I’m on the opposite end of the state but plenty of stoopids here too. My liberal cousin lives there with her matching husband and their two catalog kids. She’s tore up because she can’t get on social media and her water won’t come on. They’re struggling to stay warm by the fire. Husband is a flipping idiot who doesn’t even know how to work a generator. Her patriot dad is in route with one and several containers of gas.

People are attacking substations with guns. Shooting them up until they shut down. Apparently there are no leads. Anifa perhaps?
This seems to me like a coordinated terrorist attack on power infrastructure and it's redundancies. And guns? This Fucking glows and I don't know what to think yet.
Edit: it seems like a ritzy area, known for their golf courses so likely rich area. I'ma hit the maps and see how far apart those substations are.

I'm just saying the chances of it being drag story hour protesters is little to none, IMO.
Attacks on critical infrastructure are extremely serious. It's not the first time its happened - also in CA about 10 years ago and upstate NY. They are very vulnerable and a high power rifle can bring down a substation without much problem. The bigger the transformer, the bigger the pop. The bigger the transformer the harder it is to replace it. They generally don't keep those parts sitting on shelves and companies like Siemens, etc. have to build one to order.
This is pure speculation, but I'd say ANTIFA or an enviro group would be the likely suspect. Again, motive is in question. It could be a lone wolf as it looks like 2 substations were hit. Or it could be a false flag by the USG. Our crack FBI should be able to use geolocation and Stingray data and have a perp in hand by lunch /s.

Temporary outages are no big deal and I've always found that it really brings the neighborhood together in a positive way. Gets everyone away from their fucking phones and TVs for a while.
