My lady friend recently had major back surgery and tested positive before leaving the hospital. She has been super sick for two weeks and I've been around her most nights and all weekend. I didn't get sick.
The weird thing is she is a nurse and has been working with coof patients from the start and didn't get sick until now. She has had 3 jabs so she more than likely has no immune system left.

I wish I could still smoke weed. At some point it turned on me and instead of feeling benign and peaceful it started putting me into mute anxiety loops. Took a single hit off my buddy’s pen this past summer and had a full blown panic attack. Of course afterwards he informed me his shit is 95% THC, highest concentration you can get. I was pissed!
Side note this guy’s a school guidance Councelor and hits his pen all day every day. I have NO IDEA how he is able to function on that shit lol
You build up tolerance. My friends and I ran a business very well and we did dabs before smoking a joint. It was all day everyday. I could do absolutely anything at a professional level doing that. I quit smoking like that and now I’m ready to fall asleep after a few hits. When it’s a lifestyle, it’s like drinking a soda.
Sounds about right. I used to burn through a gram of dabs in 2-3days whEN i was smoking regularly. Been a few years now. The last time I had a dab i lasted all of 45minutes and took a 4-5hour nap. Woke up feeling like my mouth/tongue/lips was made of sandpaper.
I may or may not partake... And I still got COVID. Maybe I wasn't smoking enough. But I don't see that as a bad thing.
The symptoms of cutting weed out cold turkey are similar to flu symptoms if you've been smoking heavily enough for that long. I highly doubt this person actually tested, they just feel sick and achey so they call it covid (the flu doesn't exist anymore in public consciousness)
The overarching point is that illnesses are just your body detoxing, and what you feel is the side effect of that.

I am a chronic weed smoker.....an oz a week. And that guy is correct. weed stimulates the dopeamine receptors. Constantly keeping them in "high" state. Then when we no longer provide that stimulation. Our bodies/brain has a hard to regulating the dopeamine. Some overeat.....some get sick, other depressed.
I've been through withdrawal and it feels nothing like covid.
Your personal experience was a pleasant one then. When I helped my brother kick heroine...he was violently ill. Another guy I know whom was a heavy drinker quit cold turkey, and it nearly killed him. He had seizures because of the physical dependencies on it.

The dopeamine receptor doesnt distinguish which compound stimulators it.....that's why people get addicted to jerking off and porn. It's ALL about that little receptor in our brains. Thats EVERYTHING to do with addiction. Doesnt matter the stimulus.
Total Bullshit. I quit after years of smoking it simply because of dry mouth. Only symptoms I noticed was being a bit irritable for a few days.

After 26 years of smoking weed daily, I quit last spring. All I suffered from was a bit of excess sweating for a few days and hyperactivity. No body aches or flu-like symptoms at all. I smoked cigarettes too, but switched to vaping at the same time I quit weed. I haven't caught covid, ever. I think nicotine definitely blocks the virus.

Trouble sleeping is definitely an issue. I take melatonin now. It helps a lot.

It's easy not to run out in countries such as America where you can just go to the shop and buy weed. Most places though not so easy as that. If you're buying on the internet all it needs is the mail service to go on strike, which ours currently is. My deliveries of everything are chaos right now.
