Houston Police want to speak this man, but he’s not charged with a crime. HPD says a gunman was robbing people at a taqueria on S. Gessner last night. During the robbery, this man shot and killed the suspect... collected the money, gave it back to the robbery victims, and left. CHAD!

Dude likely put one in his head to finish him off if he wasn’t dead already. If the pause before the last shot is any indication.
Robber fucked around. Robber found out. Stupidity in action
On that basis alone, I would not want to be found by HPD let alone talk to them. Make them go apply for an arrest warrant with what they got. If they have the balls to do that, tell them you are exercising 5th amendment right to remain silent and right to counsel then stfu and give them nothing. Problem solved.
In case people haven’t realized - cops don’t just come talk to you as “person of interest” in a crime to do anything other than find a basis to charge you with that crime. And after seeing utter insanity with police enforcing bogus COVID mandates, I’ll never trust nor speak to them voluntarily again. Only a fool rolls those dice.
This right here. Never talk to police. Does not matter if you are innocent or guilty. Never talk to police
Is it STFU Friday?

Always a good video to show people.
Never, ever talk to police. Even if you trust them. Even if your brother is one.
Yep, tell them they can speak to your attorney, if you remain at the scene.
Pause before the last shot? The link has the entire video he literally walks up to his motionless body and keeps firing and then pauses and fires one more into his head or upper body area. Doing that puts him in possible legal jeopardy. Anytime someone stops shooting after the threat is stopped and then goes back to shoot them again when no new threat has emerged that can be classified as a killing rage and the person can be charged with murder. A similar thing happened with an Oklahoma drug store owner...shot an armed robber and dropped him. He went into the back and came back out and shot him again while he was laying on the ground. He was convicted of murder. Here theres not as much of a time lag but i could see why the police might find those last few shots questionable.
If you robbed people in the past, you lost a hand or your head.
Police can fuck off on that one, if coming back saved them from a future potential robbery call then they should be thankful.
Don't go around robbing people, it's not hard to understand.
Well under Texas law if it is determined it was a justified shooting, the person shot is barred from suing for civil damages.
Exactly! The police want to "talk" to him, AKA arrest him. He didn't fuck up shooting this guy, he fucked up executing him. They're absolutely going to charge him with murder. He makes people that carry look bad because he took it way too far. Shooting him from the booth was good, and he 100% would not be in legal trouble at all. Executing him with that last shot will get him prison time.
I suspect they'll wrap him up and lock him away for leaving the scene of a crime.
He's not the one who committed the crime
Huh.
I guess I'm rather conditioned to the law being f***tarded and rather nonsensical in enforcement.
I think we all are around here
It's fucktarded
That is fucking curious.
Because I could.
Every now and then I like to practice at polite discourse.
You might try sticking to speaking about your own motivations and actions.
I live 20 minutes from here
What a hero. Wow. He waited til his back was turned and there was no risk of hurting the other customers
It is digusting to see him robbing poor people, throwing their dollars and coins to try to make it out alive
These are all mostly elderly residents who have been living peaceful lives the whole time, they keep a lot of customs from Mexico such as a late night dinner at the taqueria
What I wouldn't give for him to have gone in when there were some local gang members having a snack...he would have died even more brutally. That area has a lot of Hispanic gangs (mostly Latin Kings and Tango Blast) and Chinese triads..oh that would have been glorious
He is a Chad hero!
THE REAL video for today - The DEMOCRATS WANT TO PUNISH THIS HERO! 💥🔥⚡ A hero lifesaving customer with a legal gun at Ranchito Taqueria in southwest Houston shot and killed a Katrina Black felon using an illegal gun to rob. Jan 5 2023 11:30 p.m. S. Gessner near Bellaire Boulevard. Why do they lie?:

They want to “talk“ to him so they can arrest him for vigilante justice, I bet. He needs to relocate or wear a wig! #1 Questionable excessive force since the robber posed a threat, but didn’t fire-gun was reportedly fake. #2 He left the scene of the crime which he got involved in. #3 They most likely already questioned the man sitting across from him, when he pulled the gun and fired. So they probably already know who he is and have a warrant out for him.
Something tells me had a few demographics/locale been different merrick garland and crew would already be down in HTown…
We should give him a MEDAL!
If you can find the entire video, that guy puts at least 3 more rounds into the perp after he's already down. This guy is going to jail. He should have stopped firing.
Take a lesson from this. Cameras are everywhere.
Maybe the perp was twitiching while down. Whose to say the perp could have turned and starting shooting up the place?
Well when the audio is properly synced it shows he clearly executed the criminal. While I have no sympathy for the bastard who was robbing people, its important for self defence claims that it not look like revenge.
Tbe police could be making a case
Nope. Make sure the crim is toast. Everone is scared. Decisions made on the fly.
Nope.
Bad shoot.
The bald guy is not getting off this one. OK an armed robber but he was leaving the scene when bald guy shot him in the back then emptied the rest of the mag when the robber was down. Three seconds later the robber would have left the restaurant. Good luck with "I shot because I feared for my life."
Don't confuse the above with me being "on the side of the robber", who was terrorising people and ripping them off. A pretty stupid thing to do especially with a fake gun in a town where you can reasonably expect people to be concealed carrying real guns.
It's easy to say all that when you're in a good neighbourhood, with a political landscape that defund cops, and in an armchair on your keyboard. Anything can be said like that.
Well I guess you're saying it's different when you are actually faced with an incident and having to defend yourself. You're right of course and hopefully bald guy will be able to convince the court. Both him and his associate sitting facing him are identifiable so he will definitely get picked up by the cops.
He could have shot him in the legs..not killed him deliberately
Center mass. Until the threat stops.
If you think you are good enough to shoot him in the legs you've never had to do it twice.
If you think that eliminates the weapon he is holding being used on you, give it a try a few times with some dummies.
BANG BANG! Wouldn't even get it off.
Empty entire clip, that way your statement of "i was terrified for my life and instinct took over" looks a little more plausible in court.
He was armed, you neutralize the threat
Have you ever shot a firearm at a range? It's a rather serious amount of energy that demands respect. You don't aim a gun at somebody you aren't willing to kill, and if you pull the trigger your intent better be to kill, because that's the most likely outcome. Anything else is reckless and irresponsible.
You are 100% correct.
In fact, the massive majority of gun shots (pistol caliber) ARE NOT LETHAL. 80% last I saw.
I saw an ASP video, guy took ALL 17 ROUNDS and walked off. Made the entire drive to the hospital and finally died there.
There have been many times where people tried to do exactly that but the target died anyway. If you hit a bone then the relatively low-powered bullet in a handgun can bounce off and go somewhere else in the body.
Not to mention a major artery in each leg, the bullet hits there and odds of survival are pretty bad.
Ever been to a range? Statistically, being shot in the leg is the most survivable because it happens so damn often.
Point blank shot to the hammie doesn't drop grown men. They walk it off all the way to the doc most of the time.
Too many movies.
I'm assuming you're a brit?
I'm one too, and I understand why it happened. Crims can let one off in the heat of the moment, there's no grey area.
