I don't understand what the point of new cities could be. Unless something happens to some of our current cities. I don't get this idea at all. Building something for the sake of building it doesn't mean it is needed. Weird. There has to be a reason behind this that he's not telling us.
Jobs, getting the economy moving, places to develop industry and bring back manufacturing, perhaps that is the impetus.
Think of how beautiful Dubai is, and how successful it has become for business and such. Now think of 10 of those in the US, under the Constitution. Sounds beautiful. Dead cities can be farmed for resources and turned back into farm land.
One massive pet-peeve I have with cities is all of the tiny-yard housing development suburbs everywhere. You basically have to have a million dollar house to have an acre of land and not be an old farm-house.
I'd just be happy if we actually took care of our cities in any capacity.
New cities and flying cars, what a timeline!
Smart cities without the dystopian element. Aka not cyber punk bullshit
I think you’re missing the point of what he said, he wants a place where we can dump a ton of money and new jobs and build something new, with all new technology made in USA…. Freedom city would likely mean free from the connections of the rest of the world in order to operate
Think Dubai, with a Constitution instead of some Prince running it.
I really need some sort of Clear explanation of exactly what he means by ""Freedom Cities"", because defining it makes it More Real, and easier to comprehend what that might look like....
On the other hand, surely he doesn't mean anything like the currently proposed ""Smart Cities"" that the Elites want, which are basically The cities from Judge Dredd and Equilibrium with a splash of Minority Report....
He said ten new cities. He said the federal govt owns 1/3 of the land in our country. The new cities would only take a fraction of that land.
I think that if you maintain your optimism, that wife will find you. Make sure you tell her that it might not be easy, but that it'll be an adventure. That'll weed out any liberals.
Not a single Q post regarding Freedom Cities, or 10 cities...
Put cities in rural areas. No. Keep the cities where they are. All this will do is create more DS strongholds on rural states. Nope. Not for it
We have lots of ghost or dying towns in areas that used to have manufacturing. Those could be rebuilt. People need jobs and we need to be free from having to import so many things.
Agree. Why new? Will they come with "freedom" digital ids, for speed and convenience?
People will have a chance to move out of the liberal hell holes and leave those cities with nothing.
This is what it means to return the assets to the people
Very few Americans owns land
That will change
We know enough about biology, terraforming, engineering, etc to know there is no point to so much undeveloped land
Texas alone could probably house two or three freedom cities
Also this is a hint...
That the globalist strongholds active within our borders are about to be eliminated. Dark to light, perhaps the underground war is ending and it is time to finish the above ground component
I'd move there. Think of 10 new Dubai cities in the US, under the Constitution. They'd be glorious.
No.
you are afraid to work?
No one should have to live that way. In my mind, there'd be no cameras watching you in a Freedom City. Otherwise, it would be misnamed. I like the idea of building a new "world" that all the decent people would flock to.
And who will pay for all of this? Just give me one square mile of that federal land and leave me the fuck alone to build my own free city!
If they give the land only to those with huge amounts of cash (wealthy and corporations) nothing will change. They need to homestead it out to those who will invest in a home and agree to work locally. The federal government shouldnt own much land anyway.
The skyline will change, and you can live in the country and work downtown if you want. They'll be expensive at first, so a lot of people will use them as an Uber, and there will probably be bus-lines to a local parking lot in your neighborhood.
