This was an absolutely great show. Learned so much and came away understanding it. I kind of shy away from the financial stuff because it does go over my head sometimes, but I always try because I want to understand more. This was a great episode and worth every minute of it.

Don't be too hasty to attribute "truth" to ANYTHING. In fact, don't be too hasty to attribute ANY "meaning" to ANYTHING. All opinions are by definition less-than-fully-informed Value Judgments.
Once in a while, for a nonce, and for a lark, try appending "I imagine that ..." before EVERYTHING that you say. Or even everything that you THINK! It's a fun exercise, PLUS, in a way, your imagination's all ya got; there's NOTHING "out here" but that which you imagine that you perceive. (That latter clause can't be proven to be wrong.)
According to Q, you are watching a movie. And he/she/it/they didn't qualify that with "sometimes". Me, I would rephrase his/her/its/their (imagined by me) gist as: At any given moment, ANYTHING that you imagine that you perceive, MAY be a fabrication of some sort. In summary, the Devolution speculation is that there is maybe laws in place that will resolve all your challenge. I do not believe that. Because if you look at the FACTS, the facts contradict Devolution. When I make a choice, if I can choose between FACTS and SPECULATION, I always choose FACTS. For example, right now, there are still laws being passed that are really bad for you. Those laws directly contradict Devolution. In other words, when there are conflicting information between facts and speculations, I usually choose facts. The facts do NOT support the Devolution speculation.
Because I believe that for citizen to have real security and real prosperity, the best strategy is for citizens to actively and peacefully resolve any challenges. For example, but not limited to, do your own research, listen to various opinion. Then make your own opinion. They make life choices based on YOUR own research. NOT on someone else research.
One of the core speculation of Devolution is that citizen should be apathetic and inactive. So that speculated "laws" will solve their life challenge. I believe the opposite. Thus, I do not support Devolution.
