I think it points to someone who did not learn to spell by READING. That's how you learn to spell, not by memorizing the word list of the week in third grade. Reading, far and wide. That is education. I remember reading Poe and seeing quotes in other languages. What did I do? I studied those languages, and perhaps I cannot converse in them, but I can read them. So, miss perception. Go back to third grade and learn. My rant of the day.
