Senator Kennedy is right on the money as he has been a hundred times before.
Fighting the cartels is an actual valid reason for hopefully the last physical soldiers-on-the-ground war we ever have to have. As hideous as it would be. Every day another parent buries a son or daughter that died from fentanyl. Hits very close to home for me, with a friend's family. This is already a war, as we perfectly well know! The most insidious evil destruction.

The Senator is forcing the issue by asking the question, at least. I would have liked to hear her response since his statement was actually a question, though I'm likely to believe she evaded actually answering truthfully. What would she say, "Asking for Biden to assist in this matter would do absolutely nothing if not put a target on my back"?
Because the cartels are, and have been orchestrated by the CIA. Since way before Biden. They are just another form of secret army the CIA helps. Keep the South American and Central American nations unstable, keep allowing Marxist dictators to keep those nations weak, create sanctions against those governments at the price of starving out the people, the people come here, among them more cartel members sneak in under the guise of escaping the cartels. Eventually the cartels cause mass instability in this country (USA), and martial law is enforced. That would be my answer.
Why? It would expose massive corruption. Because the Biden Administration is working with or at the very least getting huge kickbacks from the cartels. Notice that when Gropey Joe took office the very first thing he did was open the border.

I get this and then I don’t. The cartels are like cancer spots, but the corruption in Mexico is like cancer in the blood, it’s pervasive and it’s everywhere. You can blow up the cartels but how do you smother the cancer out of existence throughout all of the government down there? It’s a way of life at this point. Kind of like how bad it is here in the US but maybe 18x worse down there.
Most of the corruption in Mexico is due to the cartels. I suspect a significant amount of corruption across both Americas is due to drug dealing. It is a multi-hundred billion dollar industry that trades all over the world using untraceable cash.
If the cartels are wiped out, things can begin to get better.
It’s a great start, won’t argue that. But I’ve lost hope for humanity down there. It’s corrupt to the core.
Which is a shame, because Mexico could be such a beautiful and wealthy country, and be a first world nation too. North America needs the stability a prosperous Mexico would bring to the continent.

Because it's Zelensky's turn to play Euro-General Warfare Europa 3.0 edition, with the American army. Kennedy is wonderful overall, but he is following the MIC establishment by standing with Ukraine. Perhaps Kennedy needs to ask himself why the fuck he votes to send billions of US tax dollars to greaseball Zelensky in Ukraine, instead of just demanding that our military be used to defend America.
