Nothing in the obituary about the CIA fucking with his mind for 3 years. Weird.
That would explain why his conclusion, and where he lost me forever, was to murder random people with mail bombs.

A brilliant, but ultimately tortured soul, driven mad by modern civilization. He might have influenced some people with his "manifesto" but it was overshadowed by his outright killing and maiming of innocent people. I was never swayed by his manifesto, the usual ramblings of an anti-capitalist, but he stated his case eloquently. He probably won't be missed very much by society.
He didn't kill innocent people the cia went on their own bombing campaign to demonize him and ruin any civilian support. They do this with us constantly and make it out to be our base painting swastikas on everything

I went down some rabbit holes regarding Ted. I think his manifesto and his other writings are mindblowing and spot on. However, I think the CIA was heavily involved in Ted, the killings, his manifesto and the newspaper releasing it. Ted is a major psyop in some way or another. The colleges he attended and taught at are major CIA hubs. I just can't figure it out. Why the CIA would allow that manifesto to reach the masses is a headscratcher.

Same dealeo with Hitler. Any talk of "homeland" or economic nationalism or international finance and you want to break out the Zyklon obviously. Hitler and Ted could both be intel nurtured psy-ops to destroy certain ideas by linking them with murderous craziness (whether real or promulgated).

I think the “manifesto” is all him, having read it multiple times. Government employees don’t have 1% the wisdom to pinpoint human nature like he did.
The rest, it would sure make sense if he had handlers coaxing him or even outright performing the actions. Especially given the long intervals between events. Created a news story when they needed one?

He went to Harvard at 16 on a full scholarship, but being so much younger than those around him, he had few friends in the college environment. This vulnerable young man was then processed through the CIA's new MK Ultra project and came out the other side as a serial bomber. I've always thought he was a very successful experiment. It was during the Cold War, imagine if you could make dozens of Russian Kaczynski's sending bombs from within their own country; would that be valuable to the CIA? If one day we discover the CIA knew Ted was the Unabomber all the way through his bombing campaign (and said nothing) I won't be shocked.

I was in Montana last summer to visit a long lost relative. Until I got there I knew nothing about the remote area where he lives. Turns out the closest town is Lincoln where the old timers all know Ted and remember him as a nice fellow—and believe he is innocent. Dunno. They sell Ted Kazinski t shirts and coffee mugs.
