We talked about the story of Esther and King Xerxes and Haman this past week at church. Something that we talked about that really stuck out to me was the decree that King Xerxes allowed Mordecai to make, it seems blatantly obvious that decree is still in effect today..even though "we" have not attacked the Jews, per se, they are always able to be at war with everyone else.
