One of the reasons so many of us support Donald Trump is he doesn't talk in platitudes like use "all tools available" or "everything within our power." He says how he will do it. That's who we want leading! Promises made and promises kept! Scott is a politician. He might actually be genuine and an all around great guy but he is a politician and he doesn't have the balls we need to finish this fight... period!
I am very sure President Trump's response would be, "deport them all."
He said that he was going to build the wall, and he almost got it done. But it is amazing how much damage Brandon did in so short of time.

The job of a journalist is to create a situation where the person getting interviewed says something to get themselves "hanged." That same journalist could make suggestions to help the interviewee get "back on track" or correct a mistake.
Another good example would be the April 6, 1987 edition of Nightline which featured Ted Koppel interviewing Al Campanis. He made a racist response to a question on why there weren't many field managers, general managers, or owners in the majors. In the attempt to "get back on track," Ted asked him to correct his remarks only to double down on his original statement.

Sorry, I only got 35 seconds into this video and I turned it off. I have...had...high hopes for Tim Scott. The few times I've heard him speak, I thought he had a lot going for him. I'm no Rhodes Scholar, but how hard is it to say that if you cannot provide proof you are in America legally, then you get a one way bus or plane ticket to the nearest port of exit. We cannot keep these illegals inside of this country because their children will automatically become citizens once born on this soil. Plus think about their grand children. Third generations generally intermix very easily with Americans so they could easily claim citizenship via being born within the borders plus speaking with no accent.
Go through every community and ask for proof of citizenship and then begin tossing illegals out. Simple. Fewer illegals means more JOBS for Americans. (yea the jobs Americans don't want).
Lawfully, children born to illegals on our soil ARE NOT AUTOMATICALLY CITIZENS. Move them out. Period...especially the DACA cacas.

What a sleazy move. He's trying to portray this issue as one that only people like Tucker would care about. Meanwhile, more than half the country thinks this is an issue.. and instead of taking it head on, he'd rather play sly games and act like Tucker just invented this problem to make him look bad.
The real answer is.. "If they are here illegally, they need to be deported. The courts think they can stand behind a 10 year backlog and act as if this acceptable. It is not. They have a DUTY to a fair and SPEEDY trial. If they can't see to justice in a reasonable time frame, then these people need to wait for their day in court in whatever country they originated from.'
Or.. is Tim Scott somehow suggesting that by merely sending these people home for a while we're doing them some great injustice that could never be healed?

Towards the end of the video he gives his answer. He wouldn't implement a mass door-to-door deportation scheme but would finish the wall and fix policies to pressure them out. I thought it was a fair answer.

Actually, I should have been more specific.....We don't need politicians; what we do need are constitutional statesmen. Any public servant, including a patriot, almost certainly has no idea what the enumerated powers of the Constitution are--none of us do. Where do public servants come from? They are from we, the people and the vast majority of us are woefully unaware of any of this. Therefore, he has no idea what he is lawfully allowed to do and the absolute extent of his RRPPs (rights, responsibilities, powers and properties). Our Constitution has delegated powers and very few of them. What almost every public servant thinks is that they have general powers. For these reasons, they believe that there is no real limit to what they can meddle with, unlawfully create, and slither away from.
I appreciate your comment very much. I rub elbows with some amazing people who are actually doing something to bring real accountability and resetting our government within our states.....which carries over to stomping on the federal lizards--constitutionally and lawfully. It's like a refreshing and cooling waterfall of truth and action.

Make it illegal to employ them, rent or sell housing to them, transact business with them, or deliver any federal or state benefits or services to them, enforced in each case with penalties with serious teeth. They will walk, swim or fly home by themselves.
Not only is it legal for a foreigner or illegal to own property in the US, there's even LOANS for them to do so. ITIN loans for buying homes / property. Shouldn't be allowed, but it is. Sure, it's typically 20% down and higher than market rates... but so many of them HAVE 20% down due to not paying a penny in taxes.

I would make a jobs program to hire the retired and retired military to drive buses of wetbacks back to the border. We have a great federal highway system that can easily deport the ones they catch. Something is wrong if court dates are given 10 years out. Fix the laws, regulations, policies, liberal judges.
The solution to assist mass deportation is to get them to progressively deport themselves. Give them some reward to leave voluntarily, and make the consequences for not leaving progressively worse, and worse, and WORSE. Possibly do it in cooperation with Mexico, so for example the longer stay and resist deportation, the more severe your punishment is going to be IN MEXICO (for example)... fines, imprisonment, etc. We have to stop rewarding them for bad behavior and start punishing them for it. Simple. In theory it is so very simple. The problem is corruption.
Flooding the US with migrants furthers two globalist strategies:
"The legislation I would sign as POTUS freezes the assets of Mexican cartels, it targets Mexican cartels" This is politicode for "I'm sponsored by the Mexican cartels. I work for them. I'm actually going to effectively do the opposite of what I claim!"
The Mexican cartels are a problem, but the way to solve that is to enforce our own laws, not make war with Mexico.

It really was a stupid response. We know where they are. Most illegals are filing a tax return using an ITIN (made for illegals to file taxes!) since they don't have an SSN. SO MANY of them on these returns are filling a W2. Their W2 has a SSN on it that DOES NOT belong to them! I've seen hundreds of these returns... you know what I've never seen? THEM REPORT TAXABLE INCOME. When they have a W2, they elected zero withholding, never pay a penny in taxes. Why do they file? They get money back. Many have a house cleaning or landscaping business (or other kinds). They report a loss or not enough profit to be taxable. They also frequently have 40k to 100K+ in cash from not paying a penny in taxes. They also typically claim many dependents, many or all of whom do not actually live in the United States. They game the system 1000%, and the system KNOWS THIS. We know who they are, where they are, and what they are doing. If regular citizens committed fraud at the level these illegals are doing they would burn for it. You also have millions of people coming on a tourist visa and not going back. We know who they are! We have to end this green card through marriage to a person who overstayed their visa. Too many people are visiting here with the intention of marrying for a green card... too many citizens are getting burned. The person is forgiven for overstaying their visa regardless of how many years they overstayed the moment they sucker a citizen into marriage and the immigration filing. I'm not saying true love doesn't happen... but this option needs to disappear in my opinion. You should not be rewarded for not following the law. Oh.. I ranted. =D

Actually in the video Scott said he would finish the wall and would fix up policies to pressure them out, but would not implement a mass door-to-door deportation scheme. I thought it was a fair answer.

Tim jumped directly into solutioning. I think he knows how hard it would be to actually track the people down, round them up and ship them out. And he was focused more on trying to convey that, over giving his policy first, and then following up with the reality explanation.
The solution is to finish the wall and then deport the illegals.
Close the damned border and finish the wall while throwing every one of them while guarding any porous areas.

I wonder about citizenship for anchor babies. I dont think they should be called citizens just because they were born here of non-citizen parents. There should be another category that can stay to age where they can become full citizens AND not receiving citizen benefits in the meantime.
You know like the O and Harris being anchor babies (?) getting benefits but all parents were not citizens. How was that working out?
