NC did too. I wonder how many states in total?
Was not expecting NC, considering their Democrat gov
He’s a POS for sure, but the GOP house apparently got it through. I’m thankful.
The Republican Party controls both chambers of the state legislature in NC. Yes we have a Dem governor and praying we get Mark Robinson (R) as the next governor.
North Carolina
was not expecting that in IN considering their RINO gov
Awesome. Pray more states step up
Does this matter if cbdc is federalized?
Since the US Constitution states “no state shall make any thing but gold and silver coin a tender in payment of debts,” some believe that this is the definition of lawful money and, thus, any payment medium other than gold or silver is not considered lawful money.
So the federal government violating the constitution again? Shocking I tell ya.
Fiat, at least, is a physical currency and that is likely how it scrapes by, as it used to be sort of backed by something.
A digital currency has no hope of fitting under that definition.
Yes. Currency not money.
CBDC isn’t money it’s behavioral conditioning tool. Don’t do what we say and we turn off your “currency”. We don’t want you to eat meat, we’ll just program your Cbdc to not be able to buy meat. Only the special people are allowed to buy meat ,974 currency will be programmed to buy insect protein. Everyone sees the scam.
The short answer is no it doesn't. It creates a fight but in the end the federal government can dangle carrots and use all sorts of other tricks to get the states to bend the knee to an inevitable CBDC. And make no mistake, it is inevitable.
Very nice win.
This is confusing. I get what digital currency is ultimately no matter how our selected officials spin it. But if a state refuses the "legal" tender, does that shut the process down? Like what would happen if a state chose to no longer accept the US dollar and instead only the Yuan?
Great news!
Guess what, it's another red state. When will the blue state start to join in?
Never. We’re going to have a digital currency civil war.
Blue states with Cbdc. Red states with sound money.
Same as western nations like El Salvador and bitcoin.
I am SO GLAD I moved from WA two years ago to a red state.
LOVE IT!
My state still manages to surprise me. Hope to primary hogset and Holcomb next
Ahh ŵe did something right. Now abolish aboŕtion
Hello fellow reformed pede.
Soli Deo Gloria!
Amen, brother! (Or sister?)
Brother.
The best we can do is 5th trimester abortions.
Sweet.. I might have to move back!
We should start using Goldbacks. A few states already made it legal tender.
People should pester their representatives in all 50 states about this issue.
