I've unplugged my TV - don't have cable to begin with - mostly used for old fashioned DVDs - and wrapped my shut off phone in smooth aluminum foil 3 times, placed in a clean aluminum grease catcher with tight cover in my unplugged microwave which I hardly ever use. Did a text test with DH last night and the turned on phone done in this manner didn't take a call or text.
My electrical engineer DH is curious and wants to hear the sound/message. If it's really obnoxious, he's got the tin foil ready and will place it next to mine in the microwave.
I was taking a nap. Woke up, recognized what that sound was, said FJB, went back to sleep. Did not wake up a zombie. Wife is in town at doctor's office. If she drives up zombified I hope the head shot still works on zombies.😉
