The 3 lawyers so far that have "turned" on Trump have done so because they were facing RICO charges which are undeniably misapplied in these cases. If they plead guilty to "lying" about the election being stolen, they get off with a small fine and no jail time, because that is the deal they are given. It's "legal" blackmail so the deep state can have video like this of them "admitting" to "lying". If they lose in a RICO case, the fines and jail time are massive. All 3 cases are BS.

Most federal cases end with a plea deal. The charges are so overwhelming in most cases, misapplied as you said…. And endless government money and resources to prosecute. It’s been going on forever, not just in Trumps situation.
Edit: only 2% of federal cases go to trial.

So what did Jenna Ellis actually say? She is sorry for what? The lawfare she has found herself in? She didn't admit to anything unlawful in her speech. She said, “I believed that challenging the results on behalf of President Trump should be pursued in a just and legal way,” she said, but “I failed to do my due diligence.” What the heel does that mean? Ambiguous?
She did her "due diligence" as an attorney and served and advised Trump on legal grounds. This is not an admission to guilt, but avoidance of a very biased court with a biased jury. It's avoiding J6 in the south.
Posted above: most federal cases don’t go to trial. You get massive charges or slap on the wrist plea deal. Most take the plea deal.

Until today my thoughts on this were that it doesn't hurt to take the plea on misdemeanors (not felonies) with zero jail time, and have all of it overturned when Trump's appeals work. Then Jenna said what she said. Powell did not (as far as I've seen). It will be really hard to walk back what Jenna said without perjuring herself. DUMB. If I had to guess, her legal career will be over except for small claim stuff. She obviously was not thinking big picture or future appeals. Powell was smart.
Can't wait to hear the PUNCH LINE to this joke, this has to be a setup.
It has to be significant that she just plead guilty to “J6” charges at the “J2 Lewis R. Slaton Courthouse” when Lewis Slaton had been famous for investigating missing children.
