I'm interested but stonks have to moon first......
No cash or time right now.
Understand. I have ETH/BTC/XRP that are sitting around, too
Wish I could. I am working two jobs and still not making it. This economy became painful almost a year ago.
I heard a very good story from a guy at work I would like to test. He said his father was in Egypt after the war with the army. And some locals told him you could rest a coin on one/ any of the blocks in the pyramid and it would move very slowly. Said he had to mark it, it moved so slow..... it may need to be a silver or pure copper coin, he didn't know the details.
He said his dad didn't bullshit, and I have known this guy for many years he doesn't bullshit either.
Check it out next time you are their please.
It's usually very windy on the plateau
This guy gets it!
Look into AI crypto as well (e.g. AGIX, VAI, FETCH, etc.)
OH, IT'S ON, MUTHAFUCKAZZZ.
Believe me, this is a NOT FOR PROFIT (read: not a PAYTRIOT) post. The EGP has crashed against the USD and this tour will get cheaper and cheaper the more people sign on. Maximum: 20. Everyone that commits? I have to PRE-pay USD, almost the exact number, six months in advance. Any risk? Comes out of my own pocket! But, it would be worth it because I love you frogs.
OK. As some of y'all might remember, I modded GAW remotely from Egypt for almost just shy of a year, living in both Cairo, Aswan, and Dahab (Sinai), Egypt. During that time I studied ancient mythology & religion, explored and immersed myself in gnostic ancient Egyptian Coptic Christianity, and lived five months on the Sinai, diving almost 100 times in the Red Sea's "Gulf of Aqaba" sites, literally some of the most amazing, best diving known to man, anywhere on planet Earth.
The purpose of this post is to get a gauge, get a sense of how many frogs here would be interested in a 100% bespoke, custom-designed tour (no BS, no tourist-trap BS, conducted by only the top-flite most famous Egyptologists and interpreters, and then the diving portion run by me, yours truly, an experienced diver with over 100 Red Sea 40+meter deep dives in some of the most diverse and spectacular diving locations on the planet.
Price: $7540 / frog, all in (some dive-specific costs are extra)
THIS TOUR WOULD INCLUDE ALL SPECIAL PERMISSIONS TO SEE ARCHAEOLOGICAL AREAS NOT TYPICALLY SHOWN TO THE PUBLIC.
This is a NON-PROFIT tour I want to do. I want to organize, max, maybe one or two of these, and I will open the books and show each frog the exact costs and why such and such costs so much. ALL I want is to show you frogs the amazing things that are going down in Egypt and why you want to trust me as your guide through 16 days of hardcore Egypt exploration.
Please post any comments below. Comments? Questions? I can answer anything. I would love to tour Egypt and go diving (don't worry if you're not certified) with 20 of you fuckers.
Honestly, sounds pretty rad. There's no realistic way to make it work for myself right now but I hope it goes somewhere.
Egypt being one of the oldest surviving civilizations means a lot of really cool stuff is over there, and all that rich history and culture would be fascinating to see in person -- over the internet is just not the same.
I was supposed to go to Israel in November, guess what my trip was canceled. Not looking to go to anywhere near that country for a while. But I hope you have a fantastic time and appreciate your dedication.
You’re going to make me want to go, just to CYA. We can’t afford for you to end up mummified at an early point.
I'd love to but I'm not leaving this job for that. Too stable and I'm making more money than I thought I could in this economy.
It surprised me when I was over there how many people work their jobs, remotely
Am nurse, can’t work remotely. It would be a dream vaca, but honestly, I’m afraid to travel outside of the states, let alone Alaska in the near future.
I was there in the year 2000. Would have to dive the Red Sea. I have too many other places I want to go so will skip. It's nice that you are organizing it, Cat. Realistically, would be nice to meet some of you!
i am.. too poor for this, man.
For real.
haha, LOL, I'm about to find out how unpopular I am, how many frogs would rather die than follow me around the Dendera temple in Abydos, explaining the ceiling
kek
Partly falls under "clean up the country first [elections]", THEN party like it's 1776.
I'm sure the history purists will dispute that last part with regards to the year, but you all get the drift.
Partying like 1776 means cleaning up the country. Let's party like 1776 and then we can party like its 1787!
It'll be great, we could hang out and talk about the chemtrails lol.
From atop the temple where you can see the flat earth
I'm advanced diver certified (good to 130' typically). When you say "don't worry if you're not certified", that kind of raises a flag for me, especially if there's any sort of cave or tunnel diving as there's extra training you want to have. It all falls under "want you to be able to handle tough situations and be able to come back". Is this similar a movie scene from "Tomb Raider"?
Money it tight right now, but I'll see where I left that random gold stash.
Understood. When I say that, I don't mean, you don't have to be certified to die in egypt, in fact, it's the opposite. Their laws there are among the most strict in anywhere in the world. You would definitely have to get certified, I'm just saying that they have really easy lessons and the teachers there are super amazing. That's how I learned so confidently. They were great.
And you are 100% correct to watch for any red red flags. I'm certified to 40 m, which means, 140 ft, and and laura, I have dropped down to 55 m certified under rebreathers, but no way would I just throw any frogs into this. It's not me. I wouldn't be teaching. Sinai, egypt, has expert teachers on this and they are so good. Every frog would be safe and it wouldn't even just be in my hands.
That means they will get you certified. I’m sure it doesn’t mean they are just going to throw everybody in a situation beyond their experience level and hope it works out.
Correct. Egypt is pretty protective of their underwater treasures. Although, I did see this exact thing happen in a way that I really was unimpressed with down in Ras Muhammad. They let someone really inexperienced dive there and he ended up kicking over some of the very large corals. Not good.
Let's see what bitcoin does. I might be able to convince my husband. He can dive. I have a stupid neurological condition and diving would kill me, lol. That might mess up his trip.
Hi, frog, no, no, no, let's not kill any of our precious frogs just for the chance to go down. You are correct. Stay alive! No matter what occurs!
I went to EGYPT this year. It’s amazing and so are the people. Had a Nile cruise to Aswan from Luxor. Cairo is massive. The new museum was not open yet. Went to Cairo Museunm of Egytian Antiquities. All was relevant to the Bible.
The lies! The lies! The new museum is going to be utterly amazing
But aren‘t they twisting the history there to fit the narrative? Check out Paul Cook on Youtube. He recently looked at the stonework in Egypt as well as other conflicting history. (e.g. Lots of geopolymer there, like in Malta.)
I studied Egypt pretty seriously there and I personally don't buy into the geopolymer idea, there a literally nothing in the spectrum of ancient Egypt that has this
Some of it is clearly geopolymer. I mean you can see micro bubbles under a microscope (from the reaction). It isn‘t really an idea. It is obseravable in SOME of the large stones. And one of the stones in Giza still had some wood around a part of it (which is from the filling of the polymer.) Not just Paul saying it. Was another guy, engineer I believe who layed out how the great pyramid was poured, mostly.)
A deep dive, exploring the birthplace of Kek. I love it. But I ain't in it.
This would be absolutely amazing! For me, no money, and taking care of a dementia mother, but what an awesome opportunity for some Anons! If circumstances were different, hubby and I would be there! Can you do a post when you get back telling us that cannot go all about it?
Anyway to join for less if we don't join in on the dive portion? Looking to get certified in the next couple years, but won't be in time 💕
Frog, brilliant question, , however, what you want to do is do as much training and figuring out things within the dollar conversion Matrix, meeting, you don't want someone training you before you fly, you are so much your new after you fly, i.e, you want someone training you in Egypt dollars are not American dollars. It all depends on what shakes out. Typically a tour is 14 days, I was just going to do the exciting stuff in Egypt near Cairo and then change out the rest with diving but, what do you think, do you think a proper tour of Egypt would be of interest, while maybe some other frogs split off and do some diving?
I'm finishing up my last semester of grad school and looking for a job 🤞 so can't make it but definitely would be interested in 2025 onwards!
This post makes my heart happy. I hope many more like it pop up in the future. I would love a chance to meet and make memories with aheckofalotof you! Unfortunately this one is out of my reach financially. But can frogs continue to plan more things down the road? 💪🐸🇺🇸
Wow, what a wonderful comment. For me, I know what it costs per person to do this to her in egypt. Wow, you totally get it. Didn't even imagine how cool it would be? The amount of things I could show every one of the other frogs how about all of the normal typical places would be just a surreal
Somewhat interested. When would you be looking at going?
I’m trying to buy a house in the next year. But this sounds like a once in a lifetime type trip.
Well, right now, you are the only frog that has expressed any real actual Tactical interest. I promise the trip would be utterly amazing. But so far it's just you and me. Let's see how the rest of this thread goes.
I hope it can happen. But I get that it’s kind of a big commitment for most people. I could take 2 weeks off work and be OK when I return so I feel like I am in a better position than most.
Maybe after the precipice lol.
It's so easy to make concrete spending promises what's the price of its hits, isn't it. Right there with you, frog!
If you really want to deep dive about history of earth, humanity, life, god, and even the universe… read up on the law of one: the ra material. It will lay out everything… you can also read it for free at llresearch.org
Gods id love to but not enough money or tIme to go fren
I'm a videographer and live stream tech, would love to discuss in-kind to document the adventure!
Go on a brian forester tour
I prefer eating
I'd love to go - Ancient Egypt is one of my obsessions. But I cannot physically do it - I hope ya'll have an awesome time and will need to figure out a way to post pics 😁
If I were rich, and the world was safer, I might consider it. Otherwise, no.
Why do I get the feeling that aircraft crashes and scuba diving accidents will "unexplainably spike" during this event?
I have scuba dived on the other side of the Red Sea (Saudi Arabia) and it is incredible.
Actually, it's just us now, would you mind telling me a little bit about what that is like? The Egyptians are so lazy, it's almost impossible to get them up at, like, 7:00 a.m., and because Egypt is on the other side of the gulf, by noon, all the light is already practically gone. Where did you dive on the Saudi Arabia side? Please tell me everything
I dove in Yanbu (a little ways up from Jeddah) on two different trips so probably a total of about 12 dives. I lived in Dhahran so it was a group trip that the company my dad worked for set up so it was all timely and under control. The dives were beach entry so we’d get going early, basically head down to the water and just start diving. You belly paddle out a bit and then there was probably a 50 foot wall that just dropped off. I’m guessing it is similar to what you would see - beautiful corral, morays, and just the widest variety of fish imaginable. Of course there the afternoon dives were better from a lighting perspective.
I dove a bunch in the Persian Gulf. And the diving there was polar opposites to what you see in the Red Sea.
And the Saudi’s don’t do anything that resembles work, so you’d have some other nationality running things. Most of the folks helping with the diving, setting up, was Philipino, Indian, etc.
Sounds like Dubai. When I went there to train some people and install some devices it was the Indians working and the Brits managing. The "white robes" walked around the building for a few minutes and went home. I will say that when they were actually there they were great, and made it a point to come talk to me and thank me for what I was doing for them.
Yep! That’s pretty much the way it goes!
I am planning on going to Egypt in a couple of years, if anyone knows of any good guided tours, let me know.
I wouldn't charge you anything, I could set you up completely absolutely 100% with the best Egyptian people, there are so many grifters and so many losers out there in egypt, I can send you up with the best of the good ones. Just let me know, really, all I would be providing you with is the phone number. For this tour, I've never seen a tour like this. I want to organize a tour that is a week of diving and the week of the ancient sites. I think that would be so amazing
I hear u/catsfive sets up a pretty good one.
I dunno, bud, I paid $6980 without the diving
