While I appreciate the sentiment, the Texas border isn't secure as long as anyone can walk right in at an official crossing. Is my garden secure if I fence it all in, but leave the gate wide open? No, it isn't, that is what is happening here.
There is a reason some people show up at an official crossing and other people sneak across the river at night. Texas is correct in at least closing the hole in the fence and forcing people to use a legal checkpoint.
It's better than nothing.

I think the federal government and all of the deep state minions running it, have grossly overlooked the Patriot 'army' in this country ... and misjudged their new appreciation of the Constitution and it's protection for us and over us.
