Co-ops, tutoring across specialties etc are part of this shared local learning. 2. Back to earth- pull back from tech, processed food, packaged entertainment, etc and investment in books, gardening, cooking from scratch, homemaking. 3. Back to community- Continuing from above, if this can be done with extended or new family, work is split- take turns making meals, one big cook for a bunch of people. Much cheaper on supplies and huge time savings. Guys can group up to cut trees, clear land, build raised beds, between everybody involved generally the right tools and experience will be available.
Totally possible. But only with commitment and constancy. We can start small and gather the lost knowledge, prepare our kids and build something lasting with them.
