She was awake most of the day. Not up wandering around but awake and laying around. She actually barked when i came in the front door. She hasnt barked at the door since this started.
She ate like a pig. I gave her 2 big cans of tuna with the water late morning, She ate most of it. I think she liked it. My wife cooked a roaster chicken. She had 3 plates of chicken and carrots. She was a full happy puppy last night.
Thank you for sharing. Very uplifting news! Hopefully it’s a positive trend.
Yes. Definitely gives us hope. I will not hijack this thread but we just had our 9 year old black lab/Great Dane mix shelter rescue dog diagnosed with lung cancer. Sam has had some labored Breathing and coughing for the past 2 weeks. Got him in last week and they gave him steroids and antibiotics hoping maybe it was just a tick-borne illness and lung infection. The X-rays today revealed several tumors just above his heart near the trachea and the lungs were peppered with small nodules we are assuming is cancerous. We are also starting fenbendazole treatment tomorrow along with low sugar tuna/chicken diet - see if we can’t also make an improvement. I’ll start our own treatment daily thread for Sam tomorrow. While many here have heard anecdotal stories of fenbendazole treatments I have a personal friend that took it about 1.5 years ago. He had colon cancer that has spread to his lymph nodes. They performed surgery and removed the tumor and a section of his colon and inserted a chemo-catheter in his chest which he was supposed to start week or two after surgery. He decided to do the fenbendazole treatments for 3 months before going down the chemo route. Petscan 3 months later revealed he was cancer free and the chemo-catheter was removed. He had stayed on a lower schedule prophylactic dose since then and remains cancer free. It obviously can work
Appetite and barking at the door, that hardly sounds like bad news - I would call that some of the best news I have seen in what has been a pretty sad and heartbreaking series.
God Bless you and your family, this is what love truly is.
good news fern keep the faith...i am glad you keep us posted on any progress....hang in there
God bless her.
Heck yeah! Go dog go! As always, thanks for the update.
Great news! Sounds like you’re on the right path fren!
Oh my. Wonderful news.
OMG! So great to hear. She sounds like she is a happy pup. Maybe she has turned the corner!
Love your updates
Wonderful news! Sounds like a major improvement! I pray for your dog to continue healing.
We are with you, 94!
Veterinary Secrets on YouTube. This holistic vet talks about Ivermectin and Fenbenzadole for dogs. Sounds like she’s getting better!!
No Ivermectin. I think OP said this is straight Fenben so interesting to see how much just the fenben can do. The Iver would help but he was reluctant. Anyway. Fenben by itself seems to be working but it is taking longer is all.
THANK you for mentioning this awesome account! This Vet is great!! God Bless him! 🙏
WOW!!!
Pulling for you both....prayers answered day by day.
Praise the Lord!
Wonderful news fren!! Barking, eating & tail wagging! We are united here in prayer for your pups healing!! 🙏
good news good post series also
First time seeing your post fren, glad it is good news. Went back to see your earlier post with the post of the story where you got your info from. I am assuming if they were using it to cure bone cancer which they say that there is no cure for that it would work on humans too. What do you think?
Im not a doctor. They say it works on humans. Check with a doctor you trust before trying anything.
When i asked my vet about it, before i got the word fenbendazole out my mouth,he said he has heard of it being used in humans for cancer but hasnt heard about it actually working.said it wouldnt hurt to try. Said the dosages werent gonna hurt my dog.
Im doing most of whats listed here: https://www.prairiedoghall.com/curing-my-dogs-cancer/
I’ve heard of ivermectin working in humans for cancer from a family member abroad.
Fenben as well, but internet only.
Thanks fren
You can search fenben or fenbendazole on this site to find a number of threads about it being used for humans. It became well-known for this because of the story shared by Joe Tippens at www.mycancerstory.rocks.
Thanks fren
This is so great to have updates from you and how this works. God bless you and your dog.
Always a good sign when the appetite is strong.
Sounds like she’s getting better! When you purge your body, it will have good and bad days. Take the bones from the chicken and make her bone broth. If she’s loving the tuna, keep giving it to her. The protein from fish gives them a pep
GOD BLESS 🙏
What happy news!
I have seen many 4 legged family members come and go. My rule of thumb has always been as long as they are enjoying eating (and it stays in to digest), there is quality of life.
Even when some of my dogs/cats have stopped eating, if they aren't showing signs of extreme pain that CBD oil can't mute, they make their journey from this world to the next at home.
Wow, that is great news!
Amen…an answered prayer day ! Please 94 feel as good as she does today !
She will pick up on those positive vibes. You both need the positive reinforced.
Tell your dear wife to boil that chicken, easier to digest. Keep up the good fight, let puppy talk to you and pay attention. I think barking was a message and good sign, especially after being silent…
Everyone here is asking for a miracle, miracles don’t come easy……BUT….. They do happen.
With love and prayers for healing and strength….
What great news! Been watching for your daily posts to see how she’s doing. Keep doing what you are doing it seems to be working. And take that girl for rides in the car, she seemed to like it last time, lol. I’m so happy she is doing better, she will most likely have good days and not so good days.
HaHa, did you and your wife get any dinner last night or she ate it all? Blessings!
We got a few pieces.
Woo hoo! 👏👏👏 Praise the Lord!
maybe add a small amount of ivermectin?
Praying she's turned the corner on this!
KEEP FEEDING HER REAL FOOD. Seriously though. We continue to pray for your sweet girl.
Awesome. May God bless your fur baby and your family. Keeping all fur babies in my daily prayers.
Thank you for the updates.
Good news, been following every day. Your a great Pet Daddy.
The best news I’ve read today! I truly appreciate you posting as I look for your post first thing! Many, many prayers being sent for you and your pup!
@94f450d apologizes for not following closer,
I've heard fenbendazole can be bad for the liver, are you skipping a day or two every week? Or doing something else to heal the liver?
Just been giving it daily. She didnt get any yesterday. I figured id just let her eat if she wanted to eat. I probably will start skipping days for that reason.
