The judge came to the conclusion of fact that Fani had at least the appearance of conflict (as well as a number of ethical violations). His interpretation of the law allowed her to stay on the prosecution. Interpretations of law can be appealed to higher courts. Facts not as much.
I understand this judge donated to Fani’s election campaign. Is that not conflict of interest?
To be fair from what I’ve seen all of Fulton County is a conflict of interest. I mean we’re talking about Fani Willis being a corrupt prosecutor but keep in mind she was a JUDGE too. But I’m a random person on the internet and not a lawyer so take my commentary with a grain of salt.
One big black pill for me has been that concept, that there is little avenue for recourse if a lower court judge determines “fact” as completely wrong.

Totally called she would get off. I said it was the judge saying the prosicution didn't prove it's case and she would be allowed to prosicute. But the outcome remains the same and I said the outcome of her being allowed to prosicute the case was good for Trump in 2 ways. First, it shows the total corruption of the legal system in plain sight, second she is so damaged that the court won't even take her seriously. This entire case against Trump has already fallen apart and now his lawyers can smash fat fani in court AGAIN! it's a win.
She can stick a fork in that case it is that done. But I suspect we will see a appeal on the ruling. I further suspect they are looking at the evidence and fraud charges will be forthcoming .
Fraud charges will absolutely be coming for fat fani. She knows her entire case is down the shiter and would have more than likely wanted to be tossed from the case than move forward and prosicute it.

I don't think Fani want's to be involved in this anymore. She's already been outed publicly as a corrupt DA that is on the take, lies. Purgers herself, and steals. The Trump team is going to tear her apart and put her on trial rather than the other way around.

Not a “huge win” at all. A huge win would have been Fani removed and Trumps case thrown out. The judge caved to pressure, possibly from Fani or the WH or DOJ. She lied under oath and instead of being indited she gets to keep her job and continue the sham trial. The corruption stinks to high heaven, including the judge. Once again the democrats slide while the republicans, see Trump, are held to account for non crimes.

Totally think Judge Mccaffee screwed her big time, or her paramour both. Proverbial rock and hard place. He is screwed if she removes him they admit to wrong doing. She now has to find a replacement and using correct procedures. Candidate under microscope and how long will it take? Or if she tries the case herself while under same microscope.
