Is Barry dead? Has his replacement taken that trip? A lot of the top players of the deep state are MIA and they have replacements in their stead. How would Q know five years ago he would be taking a trip TODAY? I don't believe in time travel (at least no one has ever explained it well enough to me), so this means the only avenue for Q to know Barry was to take a trip today is have Barry in a cell and his replacement was told by Q to take the trip. That, I can believe.
What was that term we learned early on about the simplest explanation being the right one? That's what this seems here.

This is really the ONLY avenue you can believe? There are a number of reasons both nefarious and banal (I lean toward the former) for Barry to show up.
It's remotely possible that the bad guys know what the Q posts are, and plan trips or events to coincide with the posts just to fuck with people who follow Q. You know, just for fun.

Thanks! I'll be honest, I feel like people have a lot more (bad, uniformed, magical) answers than questions. We seem to ask the right questions, but there are some DEEPLY held fringe beliefs (and that's all they are IMO) that have become more and more mainstream on here in the last couple of years. Nature abhors a vacuum and folks desperately want to fill the one left by Q, some of it is downright magical thinking, based of laughable pseudo-new-agey-science.

How does Q know he is taking a trip? There are many explanations beyond he may be swapped out, which I think is much more unlikely. How about blackmail. We know he is controlled and we know pulling the right strings can make anyone do anything. The circumstances with what is happening in the world may require his attendance, which may have been known beforehand. Just my thoughts.
