They have a few headquarters. There's one in Huntsville, AL that just opened like 3 or 4 years ago, yet even another one has been recently slated the $$ (by blackmailed Congress) to be built.

It has been essentially empty since COVID and has not been refilled with workers. Several DC HQs are the same way. It’s much easier for Trump to fire a lot of people if they are already fired or at least only working from home.

Field offices. I was in that building in fall of 2019 doing some Cybersecurity consulting. It was very busy. Covid happened and havent been back since.
The report on lack of maintenance is interesting. All federal appropriations have relatively enormous facilities maintenance line items in the budget. The money needs to be spent even to the point of painting last year's paint.
