Or WhiteHats did this.
Nothing to see here cabal folks. Just a passing fad... you dont have to spend trillions figuring out ways to control and censor it.
Its totally not going to be the way We The People start to notice/leak/archive all your well kept secrets. Its definitely not going to give patriots a way to communicate and crowdsource which will pave the way for the destruction of the deepstate.
The Golden age when the Techies made all the money. Once the wealthy class took control. It was cheap labour and betray the Nations that made you wealthy in the first place. Time to take back control of the Internet to the people of the Nations. Start parallel systems that shuts out the Globalists and Monopolistic behaviors.
Fake News even back then.
Also: Paul Krugman is a faggot
It’s a pretty regular refrain anytime new technology is rolled out.
“Passing Fad”, “It’ll never replace (X) or (Y)”, “It’s not really (X)
The current tech people like to dismiss is AI
I'm hearing people talk about AI the exact same way that people that were unfamiliar with the internet and online shopping and that said that they would never use their credit card on the internet sound So very familiar to the people that I would talk to about IT stuff 25+ years ago.
ALOT of people simply don't get it. They don't understand it and they are afraid of it.
I spent a few hours teaching my 70-year-old parents how to use and customize chat GPT and AI image generators to help them do tasks that they regularly do in their business and personal lives and now they use it regularly. They are Not only more productive and have saved thousands of dollars on things that they would normally pay professionals to do but they also have more free time as a result.
Indeed. I happen to agree.
It’s somewhat ironic. How true the statement “ The more things change. The more they stay the same” is.
We’ve got letters and writings dating back to antiquity. Old people complaining about, or concerned over some facet of the behaviors or morals of the younger generations.
We’ve got writings of people complaining about or not understanding technological advances.
Memoirs of Old people doing the old “Back in my day” joke. . And we’re still dealing with it now. 2000 odd years later.
"Old people complaining about, or concerned over some facet of the behaviors or morals of the younger generations."
...and of course, they're always wrong, aren't they?
And, of course, Al Gore invented it--according to him! These Dems/Commies are "fill in the ________"
The internet was so comfy before "corporate America" found out about it. Damn I want those days again
Those day I had a pager and the boss would always page me over and over until I found a pay phone and called him back…. Kind of prefer those days now I think about it. Hahaha. Maybe it is still just a fad.
about two years ago, i had a teenager ask me what a phone booth is. my, how time flies! lol!
coin operated, single person, party line
syntax error
😂😂😂
You kids today have no idea...
Krugman of the NYT once said that the Internet will have as much an impact on the economy as the fax machine. Not bad for a Nobel Laureate or whatever they're called.
Their was a time, when the their wasn't much content.
The internet was boring after awhile....
lol....fail. The internet was boring if you were a total newb on AOL. Now its majorly censored and you have to use the DW for anything juicy.
Never was on AOL.
I remember the dial-up....
All looked pretty nerdy to me.
